This restaurante in the top of the Santa Teresa hill is wonderful! You can see the whole city from there, at night is super! The drinks are awesome and food good too! Advice, don't go too late cause it closes early and go with somebody that knows the city cause you have to pass by the favelas. You must go... More

Of the city lights. Service was pleasant and friendly, food was also perfectly fine without being exceptional. Wine list had some interesting local choices. Refusal to call a taxi at the end of the night, because they don't like to leave Lapa -quote, but they did have executive cars on hand at twice the cost of getting there left a... More

Nice place for trying Brazilian cuisine. We ordered palmito with pesto sauce and it was amazing! For main dish it was carnaval octopus and for dessert some king of exotic fruit with ice-cream. I like this place, very romantic in Polynesian style and nice view for Rio.

Off the beaten track and mainly visited by Brazilians ( I am probably ruining this now..), this is a beautiful place in Santa Teresa with amazing views and service. The food is to die for. And the caipirinhas, just the best.

Getting there is pretty easy. Going back is another story. Though booking my table two months ahead, the first problem arises when the waiter can't find my name, then has no table, then finds one, then finds another one (rain was about to pour). The dinner was very good, prices adequate for the place and the quality. The district where... More

This is a great restaurant to go in Rio, especially in the evening. It's located in a very charming neighborhood in the hills of Santa Teresa. Nicely decorated with tables under trees offering a spectacular view of Rio. It's really interesting because it was built keeping the trees in place, indeed very nice. Food is very good, although a little... More

This place has an atmosphere of Hollywood Brazil or South Sea Islands. Very exotic and appealing. The place is on several levels, some more conventional, some more exotic. Great for romance and special occasions. It is a very large place. Maybe because of it but still unfortunately the food is only average. Maybe the best dish is the roasted heart... More

The place is nice, with that tropical atmosphere you would expect in Brazil. The prices are rather high, so you expect the food to be something special, but it is not. The portions are small, and the taste is just okay. If you are not ready to spend around 200 reais per person, don't go there. You can get the... More
