This place is open for more than 50 years and the locals are still in love with it has the frequent lines of people waiting show. The premisses are simple and devoid of any special attraction but one comes here to drink beer and to eat "petiscos", the Portuguese version of tapas. The owners are portuguese and quite low keys... We were just staying round the corner so visited this place. The first thing we noticed was that the place was very cramped and there were people standing on the pavement, it was that busy. We made our way to the bar and ordered 4 draught beers. They came in small wobbly plastic glasses and were more froth than beer.... More

Don't miss this restaurant when visiting Rio de Janeiro! It's a classic - fantastic food and great atmosphere! Their arroz maluco, picanha, farofa and filet com queijo no pão are a real treat!

Very popular with the locals, I have compared it in the past with The Lamb in Leadenhall Market in the City of London, not because it bears any physical similarity (far from it) but because it is popular with Rio's investment banker community. Excellent, creamy Brahma chopp, great bar snacks, simple but wholesome botequim fare and, unusually for Rio, friendly,... More

The Service is amazing...Especially from Rio which the service level is not that high . Good beer ( right temperature) and the snacks and feijoada are perfect.

Superb food and awesome service. One of my favourite eating joints in town!! The caipirinhas were perfectly made and serving was filling enough. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good eating option around Leblon.

Tipical Brazilian food and informal way of eating. For sure one of the choices to experience the carioca lifestyle.

This is a must for any visit to Rio. The best steak I've ever had, lovely and charming service, awesome vibe and atmosphere. Draught beer was tasty and great wine list too. Mains are huge and sevprve too people, making it a fairly priced meal out. We went back again two nights later, we loved it so much!

a very expensive place that offer just ordinary Brazilian "Butecos" dishes ! It's too small and very unconfortable. I have to recognise that few appetisers, still, remain very good like The "BOLINHOs de BACALHAU" and some Pasteizinhos!! But,just ordinary ones ."The Bar Jobi" is still resting on it's"Laurels of fame"of the 70 and 80's,nothing else. There is is a lack of QUALITY... More

The draght beer is refreshing and delicious here. We really enjoyed the shrimp pastel but the empada is way too small for the price. The place was very overcrowded but we had fun. Of course we will be back.
