The restaurant is very well decorated, with confortable chairs and pleasant atmosfere. The pasta is excellent but very expensive for a pasta. The same for the deserts that are awsome but equaly expensive. They have a very good wine selection and the service is perfect. So, this is an excellent option for a business dinner if your company is paying... More

Had a great meal - we were a large group, but the service didn't falter. Would definitely recommend any of their risottos or fish dishes.

Gero is always a very good option - I went there a couple times when i was in Rio - and it has a nice romantic setting for a couples' dinner. The food is always good - daily handmade fresh pasta - and their wine list is very good. Service is very good too.

Our hosts were delightful and the entire evening was memorable. This stunning restaurant is comparable to world class restaurants anywhere in the world. The dining room is beautifully appointed and there is a lovely outdoor area surrounded by trees and greenery, hard to believe that you are in the midst of so much concrete. The service was attentive, the wine... More

This restaurant served us one of our best meals in Brazil. I ordered pasta with lobster and lemon sauce, and my husband ordered the filet mignon. For us, the prices were not at all high, as we are from Sweden / Denmark - and the kind of meal we were served at Gero would have cost 50% more there. Wonderful... More

I love this place. Yes...trendy. Yes...expensive. But at 11pm this place is full, jumping and serving great food. Would return in a heartbeat.

The branch of Gero in Barra da Tijuca is well located with easy parking Vallet. The service is exceptional, especially the Maitre Maurice. New dining experiences have been tested and approved, especially goat cheese souffle, the confit duck with orange sauce and mashed potatoes special. Letter of very good wines especially the Italians from Tuscany and Piedmont.

All about food should be joyful Sad place- sad people- boring service Pretentious and average food Be ready to give your wallet your watch and jewels as very likely all your money wont be enough to pay the extorsion prices of the place
