Huge letdown

Very rarely does it happen that a restaurant with good reviews disappoints so thoroughly but this one is simply a joke. I had a lunch there and ordered grilled octopus and seafood pizza. A very pleasant garden restaurant just off the main square in lovely old Paraty. Apparently Prince Harry ate here when he visited the town. Huge portions - we should have shared one pizza. :Lovely base, authentic 'crispness' but too heavy on the cheese - we spent a long time spotting the caper and anchovy!. Pleasant staff though.

Had dinner with my wife in the garden restaurant that features live entertainment as well. The meal of ravioli ricota was quite delicious, the service of "Carlete" was superb, - very attentive, and the singer who performed was absolutely high-level. Truly, he is a great performer. So, these add up to why this place was full. Punto Divino helped make... More

Very nice restaurant with a nice patio. They also let you pick a table and set it up on the street in front of the restaurant.. which is what you want to do! The beautiful old stone streets of Paraty are perfect for a romantic dinner. Very good Italian dishes, some with a local twist. Very recommendable! Sadly when we... More

Just off the main square in Paraty historic centre, this is well worth a visit. Great seafood dishes, with amazing pizzas. Good live music adds to the experience.

We tried crostini, octopus and pizza, and everything was very average and expensive for what we got.

We only ate pizzas and salads, but they were tasty and fresh Good music and nice location. A good way to have a break from the sea food avalanche

We visited this place on the recommendation of lonely planet and we were not disappointed. It's a gorgeous restaurant set off the main square in Paraty, but towards the quieter area. You can sit inside or alternatively you can sit where my sister and I sat, in an open air but covered garden area with love music - delightful. The... More

This restaurant is tucked away on the edge of the main square. They serve excellent Italian dishes, and the place itself is a small quirky type building which is typical of most places in Paraty. Certainly worth a visit for dinner one evening.
