With large umbrellas, exquisite tables and chairs at the outside, the feeling and the view are basically unbeatable in Paraty. If you are there in a mild temperature day you cant miss this restaurant experience. Food is great but really pricey. Portions are generous and there are also serves for two people. The fried calamari with bacon (that is right,... More

Well, given the price you can find out much better option in Paraty. Apart of the environment that's fantastic, the service and the food are average. E.g passion fruit's juice has too much water and it costs R$15, the cheese had no flavors.

We happened to walk past the restaurant early one rainy evening, with no one out walking in Paraty, too early for dinner, and decided to have caipirinhas during the happy hour to get warm and dry. We enjoyed good caipirinhas in the warm, inviting interior. An off-duty waiter, David, chatted with us about Paraty, the nearby beaches, and the menu,... More

Beautifull place with an antique ambiance, so romantic! To start with, we were welcome by a very charming waiter, David, that suggested we should try our classic passion fruit caipirinha with some special cachaça made class se by Paraty. It tasted like paradise. Also, we did try the ceviche and the bruschetta as appetizer, after we did have some white... More

This is a very nice location right down by the water. The food is good, but not so special. You can get better food at small restaurants throughout town for less money.

We had spent the morning on the hot dusty streets of Paraty, saw no reason to sit down in the same conditions, and went inside. A cool and welcoming room, friendly (if somewhat inexperienced) staff, and a promising menu and wine list were on offer. Food and drink was no more than average, it must be said, and thus too... We walked across the street from the famous Casa Turquesa to this restaurant.the welcome was warm and we had some of the house specialities such as the stuffed prawn and the sea bass with passion fruit sauce. Nice ambience created by laid back salsa music and helped by the interesting unoaked Brazilian chardonnay. Finished off with a tasting of aged... More

We had been given the names of several restaurants, three were very good though not cheap, the fourth was not cheap and hugely disappointing. The waiter poured the wine holding the bottle at the top of the neck, and managed to spill some on the clean tablecloth. The very long menu turned out to have very few actual choices, the... More

We didn't know how great our meal was going to be until the entrees arrived. The pupunha carpaccio is a must. Everyone in our party was very satisfied with all the orders of food and drinks made, the menu is very diverse and full of local fruit caipirinhas. One of the few places in Paraty with top shelf liquor. It... More

The hotel told us it was the best restaurant in paraty. After 45 minutes we had no food. The service was a catastrophy. Not organised all the tables were complaining. Everything we asked was not done or After 15 minutes. 5 waiters for less than 10 tables I have never seen this in my life. Just TERRIBLE!! We were expecting... More
