Francesco's natural grilled fish and vegetables were the best we've ever had. Included: fish, zucchini, two types of potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes - all grilled to perfection. The setting was beautiful and the service couldn't have been better. We came back for a second night - ordered the same thing and Francesco offered extras, including a complementary after dinner cordial. We'd... More

We stayed in Paraty for 6 nights and ate at la Luna twice. The food was wonderful as was the atmosphere, one the beach and candle lit with relaxing music. we had steak and the shrimp as a starter loved the flavours and spices they used. I wish I could eat there every night.

My husband and I had a great dinner here. Try the steak or the grilled fish with shrimp sauce. The portions were big but because it was so good, we cleaned our plates. They also have some good wine options. The service was good and the location right on the beach could not be beat!

They open a little late, so expect to eat a little late, but this however is what one should do when eating at La Luna. The candles don't say Night-Beach & Whine for nothing. Let me add: Great Food-Happy People & Perfect Ambiance.

We went to this restaurant twice during our stay. The atmosphere in this restaurant is so special, also due to its perfect location on the beach and the many candle ligths. The service is very good and friendly, The owner is an Argentinian guy and the food he cooks is fresh and tastes fantastic. The first time we had grilled... More

We enjoyed La Luna several times and never got dissapointed. Francesco, the argentine owner, masters the art of good cooking and excellent service. The girls, Mónica and Simone, serve the tables with joy and good chat. Francesco goes beyond the client-cheff relationship. Is much more than a beach restaurant. The music is superb. Don´t miss the ceviche and shrimps!!!

Great food from an enthusiastic chef served right by the ocean. Deadly caipirinhas—beware! No more than 3!

During our 8 days in Paraty we visited about 10 restaurants in Paraty and its surroundings and unfortunately I have to say that La Luna was the worst of them. The setting on the beach with lazy waves and candles on the tables is of course beautiful and also the service was nice, but foodwise it was a disappointment. We... More

We went twice during our visit, the food was fantastic, tasty and fresh, great cocktails and the service was so friendly, they remembered our names when we went back the second time. There is a great hostel near by where we stayed but if you are on the main Paraty beach it's a ten/ fifteen minute walk but well worth... More

We have been in that restaurant twice for dinner. Restaurant is unpretentious but there is a special atmosphere: tables and settings are well arranged with a mix of red, black and wood stuff, you are located at a few meters of the sea and can enjoy the waves noise, there are 2 trees illuminated around the terrasse which reinforce this...
