We went here during the FLiP festival, Paraty was packed and we wanted a little snack. This place is cute and in historic downtown, eating crepes in this setting on the old cobblestones is fun . The crepes were okay, Like good but not something I would be craving to go back for . The waitress was temporary but really... More

Very delicious crepes served in a nice cafe environment by friendly, knowledgeable staff. Choice of traditional french, brazilian and dessert style. Very nice. :-)

More than a restaurant, Farandole is the good place to start a trip in Paraty. First because you can try local kind of tasty crepe - funny for european travelers - and also the best of french crêpe receipes. Second point : the owners know the best spots and contacts so you can have the best trip in this area.... More

Tried this place due to the great reviews on TA and it was also in the lonely planet guide. It did not disappoint. English menus are available and two of the staff members (seem to be the managers or owners) spoke great english. We went there twice over our stay in Paraty- once for sweet crepes and next for savoury... More

We decided go visit this gorgeous little French crepe spot after a lonely planet recommendation. We were not disappointed it was heavenly and divine. I am ashamed to admit we visited this gorgeous place three times in three days!! The stand out for me was the savoury chicken and cream cheese crepe, absolutely beautifully cooked and extremely filling! For dessert... More

We spent a great time in this very nice place. Give it a try! The chocolate and banana was the one we tried, but planning come back. They also have very interesting proposals with cheease and meat.

We went with our big family. They were able to attend to each kids wants. Some had just ice cream. Some just with jam. I enjoyed the savory Brie crepes, my husband loved the apple crepe. The owners were friendly and spoke English.

I wish I had found this place earlier while in Paraty. It was delicious! My friend even put in a complicated order and it came out perfectly. The crepes are huge and definitely fill you up. The owner is very nice. She speaks English, which was a plus for us. Our waiter seemed to be very new, but also very... More

The place is absolutely lovely. I had the cachaca version (it carries some punch) and my girlfriend the banana and cinnamon without the cheese (her choice, not mine). Both were delicious although I really liked the banana version more. We've been received by the owners, two very welcoming French ladies, which gives the whole thing that extra credibility. On top...
