Good food and a Panama hat

My wife and I ate here having seen reviews on TA and also having seen it when wandering through town. We had dinner one evening with a live jazz band playing and a busy atmosphere. The interior is all decorated with vintage signs and posters. Food was good and also a decent sized portion, service... read more

After reading the reviews we visited for dinner the first night we arrived in Buzios . It lived up to its reputation of really good food....beef fajitas were excellent. Lots of perfectly seasoned beef. Ice cold beers and really good portions. We had such great service that we went back for a taco lunch the next day. This restaurant serves... More

If you enjoy calamari, this place has the best!!! Very friendly staff and free wifi that truly works(can't get it to work well anywhere else around here). It was a pleasant surprise to find that they spoke english there which was much appreciated. We also had tacos which were great! Wish I was back there enjoying more deep fried calamari!

Plenty of restaurants in Buzios to choose from went for this one as it looked inviting with lots of things to look at and in English we were struggling with in other places. Waiters and waitress all very friendly and spoke English. A live band were playing which added to the ambience and foot tapping. Food & drinks served in... More

With all the upscale eateries in Buzios, Mr. Brad is probably not a place you'd write home about. But after a few disappointments at some highly touted places, I was more than pleased to find Mr. Brad. Traditional samba by true sambistas lured me, and I found the Tex-Mex fare tasty and filling, if not as authentic as back home... More

We went to Mr. Brad after the Gastronomic Fest held in Buzios. I frankly had read reviews but unfortunately the TA reviews for restaurants in Buzios lately have been somewhat distorted - I assume because of the influx of all the World Cup tourists....seems like all restaurants in Buzios are '5's' - so went to Mr. Brad with moderate expectations... As an American fan of Mexican food (in this case Tex-Mex) I can honestly say how very pleased I am to finally see Mexican food appearing on the food scene in Brasil! Mexican food is quite similar to what most Brasilians eat, so it makes sense that the public here might catch on to these dishes and flavors. We had... More

Went with some friends last weekend, the food was very good, I can highly recommend the fajitas. The Samba entertainment was very good and the overall price was very reasonable for Buzios
