Good for a late Lunch

Rated as average only because it is a fairly basic beach shack. Nothing wrong with that, unless you are expecting a classy restaurant. Food was OK, fish very fresh, but like most of the seaside cafes, it only had a limited menu and it's not possible to vary the offering - if it's fish and garlic... read more

Had lunch a Rocka Beach Restaurant on jan 28/15. Great Fd & setting. Staff was friendly. Food was fresh & well presented. Best meal yet in Buzios. Pricey compared to Vancouver, Canada but that seems to be the norm here in Brasilia

I really love this place. I've been here several times and have always had a great time. The champagne selection is great. The food is amazing and the view is incredible. I have always been treated kindly and have received excellent service each time. Looking forward to my next visit!!!

Rocka beach is located overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in Buzios, with a breathtaking view and very mellow vibe. Service was outstanding, warm and welcoming, and the food was simply the best we've had in Brazil. Absolutely delicious and creatively presented. Rocka is a Must on your To Do when in Buzios!!

While staying in Buzios this was by far our favorite restaurant and beach. Rocka is right on one of the nicest beaches on the peninsula. As part of the "club" you get a lounge bed that can either comfortably have 2 or 4 people depending on which size you go for. Food and drink service straight to your lounger if... More

Although a little pricey, Rocka is worth every penny. The menu changes constantly (a large list of specials written on a blackboard) based on what they have that's fresh. It's almost exclusively seafood, though they do have a steak or chicken dish on the menu too. But you're not there for steak, you're there for the fish. My wife and... More

Praia Brava, a little beach with big waves and definitely one of the best beaches in Buzios. We decided to walk there (short walk from hotel) for a drink, sun tan and maybe lunch. Found Rocky Beach lounge.....took a lounge seat facing the ocean and big waves....very nice place and setting amidst the greens, sea and crashing sounds of the... More

Had lunch here, this place is very overrated. Lobster noodle salad had one mouthful of lobster and some nicely cooked but very salty noodles with no salad. Don't go if your hungry or looking for good value. All presentation and no substance. Service was very poor (miss recorded order of both food and drink so only one meal arrived, unforgivable)... Was recommended that we go here. The location is fab - found an empty double sun lounger and sat down. The pillows provided are pretty grubby. There were two waiters, they both stood staring into space, one seemingly performing a card trick for his friend.. Took 15mins to get their attention. Menus were brought over- it then took a further... More

my family and i visited Rocka during our visit to Brazil for the World Cup. Rocka was recommended to us, so we decided to go have a look. what a BEAUTIFUL setting, lying on the loungers overlooking the stunning bay, drinking a glass of wine. the food was so delicious, delicate and flavorful. we received desserts complimentary of the owner...
