The O Barco restaurant features an excellent location by the beach. It feels cozy and has a simple decor. The service was ok, but was expecting a bit of more. The prices are reasonable for Buzios standards (means pretty expensive). The choice of meals in the menu is good. The meal (seafood pasta) was of average size. The taste lacked... More

My husband and I had a delicious lunch here today overlooking the ocean! We had fried calamari, a salad, and a rice dish with grilled calamari. It isn't fancy or expensive, just great, fresh food. We also had a nice conversation with our waiter, Pablo.

I randomly stumbled into O Barco after coming to the realization that the restaurant I wanted to go to was closed. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. The moqueca was very flavorful, the rice dishes fresh, and the views are spectacular. The prices are also very good (more like $$ rather than $$$ as listed... More

We ate at Barco twice during our stay in bouzios, the food was wonderful. All was fresh and tasty. The staff was very nice. Must eat: pastels, bluefish and mukaka. Even if you need to wait a bit for a place do it!
