The quality ,taste and sense of thai food in this restaurant is as far as the distance from Brazil to Thailand.Strongly NOT recommend for the people who love Thai food or the peoples who want to try Thai food for first time.Only good about this restaurant is the sea view and opportunity to watch all the chicks walking down the... It's never been the best of Thai restaurants I've visited in Brasil and although we've had average to good meals here in previous years this year was a major disappointment. Only two tables occupied, had to call waiter twice for menu. Thai Green Chicken curry ultra bland and Thai Beef Curry better described as salt with a bit of curry.... More

Went to Sawasdee for the first and probably last tonight. It took two hours to get our food and for the astronomical price it costed my dish was very disappointing. Service was lacking and overall a bad dining experience. Do not recommend.

I'm not a huge fan of Thai food but by our last couple of days in Brazil I fancied a change from the typical steak dinner and I'm pleased we did. We sat outside facing the sea, had amazing food and had great service. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent meal here, the combined starter platter was, VERY tasty, and the chicken satay was better than any we had in Thailand! Ok traditional Thai food is superb, but sometimes a little fusion, let's say, adds another slight on the traditional. All great in my opinion. We have ben to Thailand and cook Thai food at home,... I had a dinner there and the experience was very good. The food is very well prepared, and there are many options of food to choose. I loved it.

Aften eating too much of the traditional Brazilian food, we were in the mood of something else. We had two noodle dishes that were both very good. The most amazing dishes were the shrimps in coconut sause (number 158 I think) and a mix of different seafood served in a big pan (for 2 people). Would absolutely recommend this for... More

Wonderful, authentic thai food. The coconut shrimp and crab cakes are amazing. The margaritas are delicious. Staff is warm and helpful. The management helped us on two separate nights to get us a great table at time we desired. Keep in mind... this place is very good and is in high demand. A reservation is the best way to ensure... Had dinner there over christmas and whilst it's not the best Thai restaurant in the world it's still pretty good and worth a visit The good points Only Thai restaurant in the area so that in itself is a good point for Thai food lovers Good location with a great view over the bay and plenty of bars nearby Has... We live in Rio, near Sawasdee at Leblon and have been many times at the Buzios restaurant as well and had a very, very bad experience. Once we were with our kids, we were the first to arrive for dinner. The experience started by the lack of wine selections, but worse was the waiter excuse, we were too busy yesterday... More
