We heard the restaurant was wonderful... great food... a chef that supervises all and goes to your table... perfect service... the background of the chef recommends him highly... however... on Sunday nights they should not open... I believe the first rate staff has its weekly rest... then we were highly disappointed... the waiters not well prepared... each of the two... More

Food is very good (my dish wasn't warm enough but ok)! I suggest to make a reservation to have a table outside with wonderful view.

Perfect location on the waterfront--outside seating--looking at the moon / stars we found this very lovely restaurant . Service was low profile--if only some of the waiters --SMILED ! Some of them were dreary. Food / presentation was outstanding. I recommend and will return

Sitting outside we had a great ocean view, the service was nice and the food was above average compared to most of the other restaurants you find along the coast (there sure are a lot of horrible tourist traps) The curry was spicy and tasty and the sirloin steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare as ordered.. The portion are big -... More

The restaurant is in an old colonial house on Orla Bardot overlooking the bay in the center of Buzios. A lovely setting and location. We enjoyed several seafood dishes and great service. You can't go wrong with Salt..

Pas du tout d'accord avec l'avis de DONAGERALDINE! This is probably the best place for dinner in Buzios - and we tested many of them including Bar do Ze - Service is superb and food is great, with a particular mention for the cheese sherbet with guava marmelade. For a simpler lunch you also want to try out the small... More

We were looking for a nice place to have lunch and we liked the menu immediately. And the food was really better than what we expected. For starters, we had squid with honey and ginger sauce. It was sublime! We asked for a lamb and a duck and both dishes were AMAZING! The staff was very nice and the place... More

We had dinner at Salt in what I assume was a quiet period as there were only 3 other tables. The first thing I found strange was that every other table was given a break basket except us. Oh well, I always make the mistake of filling up on bread so wasn't too fussed. Our mains were nice but very... More

To clarify the client comments about the absence of the bread basket in his table, its important to say that the couvert ( bread, butter, etc) is not compulsory, it is facultative an is charged when ordered. Regarding the portion of protein served, we would like to clarify that the restaurant use a minimum of 200grams of protein per meal... More
