Good food and service. Salmon and other good fish. Expensive for a por kilo but it's Buzios. Good food and service. Salmon and other good fish. Expensive for a por kilo but it's Buzios.

Typical kilo or kg restaurant the food selection was ok but nothing amazing. Solid salad bar some fish, meat pasta and some pastries. On the door was a sign free-wifi which didn't work. All together was ok but I think you can find better for around 25-30$ there. If you just want to have a salad or a quick bite this... More

It's a kg resturant. We went there with a group. We had a good time and we liked the selection of food. There were some vegetarian options. Fruit included in the buffet. The place is quite nice and we ate outside on the balcony, which unfortunately has a poor lighting but this is really a minor point.

If you're looking for a good meal at a reasonable price this is the kilo restaurant for you. If you don't know what a kilo restaurant is, it's a restaurant that charges for your food by weight. The food presented is higher end than general kilo fare and is well prepared and well presented.

the restaurant flaunts Italian food, so i decided to indulge in their specialty. i was not happy to say the least, it really didn't taste anything like italian food. please note i have been to italy and frequented many spots in nyc. anyway, there is a great italian restaurant on rus das pedras, sorry i didn't see a name on... Another reviewer commented on the decline in Boom's food quality. I noticed it too. My history with this establishment goes back years when it was one of the best lunchtime joints in town with the very freshest meat, fish, salads and desserts you could wish for. We went in about 2pm and everything looked very tired and lacklustre - the french fries... More

This has an a la carte and per kilo option. The per kilo buffet looked like it had been there awhile so went for the a la carte. Both of us had steak and it was nice. Our host was very attentive and looked like Billy dee Williams!

Boom used to be my favorite resteraunt in Buzios but three years have passed Since my last visit and it really has gone down hill. Nothing was fresh, and I actually got a bit of an upset stomach after eating lunch there. Apparently the owners have changed, or one of them left? Either way it's not up to standard and... More

Boom tries to be an upmarket por kilo. Which basically means it is more expensive, but it has a grill and a sushi option too as well as pizzas which they will make to order like a normal restaurant. If you ask, the grill guys will do you a fresh piece of meat, done perfectly. Overall it was cheaper to... More
