There are probably six or seven really nice high-end restaurants. We attempted to go to this one and were turned away as they do not open for dinner until....10pm. Casas Bracas was happy to serve us at 8pm and, as always, had very good food and impeccable service.

Although this is a hotel restaurant (which I generally veer away from), this hotel has exceptionally great food. (And we were not staying there.) We were with 4 people and everyone had a great meal. Not super expensive compared to the over overpriced nice restaurants in Buzios. The hotel, which overlooks the Bay, also has such a beautiful view and...
