This place was perfect, and we ended up having lunch here 3 times! The food was fresh and all the dishes changed everyday. The shrimp gnocchi were a highlight! The staff were friendly and when you need to eat, you can walk in and be eating in 3 minutes, one of the perks of buffet a kilo! Would definitely recommend... More

We traditionally eat at Bananaland each time we visit Buzios. Restaurant is clean and modern. Prices are a bit high for what you get. There are other buffets nearby that are just as good if not better and charge less (see my next review). Buffet includes cold veggie/fruit salads and hot options such as chicken, beef, fish, veggie dishes, lasagna,... More

We sat in the front and drank some wine on two afternoons. Second time, we were a bit hungry, so picked up a plate and had two small fruit crepes and about 8 gnocchi-like dumplings in a sauce.Total charge was R$15.50! This just couldn't be true, so were inquired of staff, and suddenly, no one spoke English any more! Even... More

it is very common to find restaurants that sella food by kilo, but this one is exceptional. Dishes are prepared for gourmets, service excellent. Add a wonderful combination of different beers and enjoy your meal (lunch or dinner)

Buzios is expensive; especially the restaurants and some places have really awful food, but this place is 'por kilo' but great value, lots of salads, fresh etc. Went there twice while we were in Buzios! Great for a quick dinner inbetween drinks!

It's a good restaurant for those with kids, because it's a self-service. However, the taste and variety did not keek up with my expectations. This is a kind of restaurant where the food isn't that good and it's overpriced. They have a beer menu (what is very rare around here), but the bulk of the items are out of stock.... More

It's a good restaurant. The food is one of the best for this kind of restaurant. For fast and unpretensious meals it's one of the best choices in buzios. The price is good and the service wonderful.

You wouldn't think so because of the name but the place offers great healthy food, with fresh ingredients at more than reasonable prices. Your pay per kilo of whatever is on your plate. We paid R 87 for two, including beverages (one soda and one beer). The waitresses are all kind and helpful, even with suggestions. Lots of variety of... More
