Italian restaurants have a large presence in Foz Du Iguacu. This particular restaurant we chose due to the TA rankings. The food was good but the timing of the dishes were not. There was a 20-30 min time lag between my wife's dish and mine. I work out okay, I ate some of hers and she ate some of mine.... More

We went to Vo Bertila during our recent stay in Foz do Iguacu based on Tripadvisor recommendations, and were not disappointed. The atmosphere was amazing- very rustic and traditional- we felt like we'd stepped into a trattoria in Italy. The giant wood burning oven was ridiculous. I had seen in some of the reviews that the staff didn't speak much... More

Nice rustic style restaurant where waiters and waitresses wear tradtional dress. The staff don't speak english but do speak spanish if your portugeuse is a bit rusty. My partner had the pizza, not the best in the world but nice all the same. I had the chicken gnocci, which was a huge portion so I'm relieved we didn't order starters!... More

This was one of a few open restaurants sunday night in Foz. We order bruschetas as appetizers, which were amazingly good (and we live in a Brazilian state famous for the Italian food!!), and a pasta and gnochi. Everything was delicious, well prepared and hot. The place has a comfy athmosphere (like a cantina) and the service was eficient and... More

I lived in Brazil for a few years and travelled on a budget. I absolutely LOVED this restaurant. Their house wine is very sweet but excellent, not bitter at all, and so cheap!! I think it's the same type of really great, but inexpensive wine that comes from Curitiba (which is usually flight stopping point when flying to the Foz... More

A 10 minute walk from the bus station, this Italian has a nice outside seating area. It has cheap beer and the pizza is very good. If you're ordering the pasta, it comes in huge portions, so be prepared. We ate here a couple of times and the service was very good. It's by no means fast food, but is... More

Though the inside looks good and typical Italian, I was not very happy with the service. The waiter that served us never smiled and seemed that we has having a bad day. The food was ok, had lots of Italian food before and the bruscheta with grated cheese is not the original recipe. They took 15 mins to get us... More

Instead of crossing the border to try a chorizo on puerto iguazu we tried this place and we weren't disappointed! Good service, warm decor and a good value food!

I had dinner at Vó Bertila once during my trip to the Iguazu falls. The restaurant is not far from Foz do Iguacu city center, you can easily reach it by foot if you stay in a hotel in the City. The atmosphere is great. Outside the tables are organized in a little garden. Inside, the restaurant is divided in... More
