Brazilian food from the marvelous steak to the "moquecas" from the north of the country. Good location and huge saloon with enough waiters to help you in your orders and needs. Located at the Triple Border (Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina) help you to have an international experience as well with people that use to frequent it.

We are attending a conference in Foz, and went to Chef Lopes with a group of people. Efficient and complimentary pick up service from hotel. Located in the town centre. Clean and modern atmosphere. We went there since we were told it was one of the best restaurants in town. It is not. Food was standard, not much tasty. The maittre suggested a meat cut and promoted it as the best in the region; for brazilian style it was substandard. Very limited wine list. Maybe it would be adequate for a standard business meal.

The meat had a Strange structure, like it came out of the deep freeze. Ambience is good. Its a big place. I wouldn't come back a second time.

Not what I requested or expectd. Dry and overdone probably frozen filet mignon of which I ate half,sauted.notreally...potatoes and the vegtables cooked in butter did not appear. Instead there was one of those fluted. Cukes, peeled in a spiral, inedible. Good? The by the kilo antipasti assortment! BRAVI! No cooking required.

It is very sophisticated which makes it stand out like a sore thumb in Foz (one of the world's worst tourist destinations). Great selection of dishes. The lunchtime buffet is also very good.
