Too much food!

But, wow, the polenta fries were amazing. The first thing they do is deliver several plates of different foods from potato salad, chicken wings, polenta fries, green salad, beef, etc. They then come by to serve you the pasta dishes - you choose which to eat. There is an abundance of food. The... read more

This is one of the largest restaurants in the world! For this alone, it is worth the visit. The food though, not so impressive. The dishes are mainly fried chicken, lasagna, pasta, and polenta- all served family style. The restaurant is located in a old Italian colony surrounded by several other large Italian restaurants. Great experience, not so great food.

It's been more than 20 years since I first visited Madalosso Restaurant! What really impresses me is the consistency through out the years... It is always the same (thanks God)! Food is good, price is fair, service is awsome!

I was in Curitiba two weeks ago and visited the Italian Neighborhood Santa Felicidade who has many restaurants of which Madalosso has a great reputation. There are two of them: the Old Madalosso and the new one just across the street. I had lunch at the new one which is big and it was busy. There was a good atmosphere... More

Madalosso is a famous restaurant in the state of Parana, but not in Brazil in general. Its fame is justified by the delicious food, good service, huge structure and beautiful people. I don't know exactly how many times I've been there, but all the time I come back it's fantastic. Its garlic fried chicken wings is something amazing! Madalosso also... More

With the best garlic chicken wings in the world. Oh my, they were good. Great wine selection as well. The place packs out on Sundays, they can seat almost 5000! That's right, not a typo, 5000! Yet still great food and service. Remember to cross the way for a complimentary cafezinho with whipped creme after your meal. Wonderful way to... More

it's a complex with many dinning salons. The price is fixed and fair. But the food quality, especially of pastas, is not so good. Even though, I recommend because the restaurant is really unique. There is a place for kids full of toys where my son took some time having fun. And there is also a coffee shop next to... More

I'm from Curitiba and i am always amazed by the good food delivered quick and at a fair price provided by this restaurant. Locals use to despise Madalosso, but i think it's a better option then a lot of "fancy" gourmet restaurants that crowded the city in the past few years. Usually these places delivers overpriced regular/bad food packaged on... More

Madalosso's a tourist trap. Huge place, regular food, quantity foucused, not quality. It's at Guiness Book of Records for serving thousant meals in one day. If you don't want to take the risk of eating regular food, go there to know and to tell friends you have been in one of the biggest restaurants in the world. As I said,... More
