Best polenta on earth

Saturday lunch in Curitiba and this is the classic way to go. Huge restaurant with a fixed menu and a quick and efficient service. The food is good and you can eat as much as you want. The polenta is the best on earth! An experience not to be missed!

Madalosso is the biggest italian restaurant in town. It is like an "all you can eat" restaurant. They have a wide range of options broght to your table and then replace it once you've finished. The options are chicken risotto, salad with crispy bacon and wine vinegar, fried polenta, fried chicken with fried garlic, potato salad... It is very well... More

Good food, nice place, very good service and excellent wheat beer. The price is not very cheap but worth a meal there.

It was the best pasta I have ever eaten! I wouldn't waste my stomach with the appetizers, though they are also amazing, but the pastas are incredible good even for me that is not a pasta person.

If you're visiting Curitiba please please please don't be like every other tourist and go here just becuase its plastered over every guidebook and every website on Curitiba. They no doubt have a large marketing budget because they handle volume. Instead do yourself a favor and get off the treadmill of the package tour bohemoth. Dig just a little and... More

A great place for special occasions. It is a little bit expensive, but very much worth your money. The best italian food in the city. The staff is very helpful. Do arrive early, specially with small children or the elderly, because it gets crowded, and it takes long to get a seat!

Very big and beautiful. It's one of the best Italian restaurants located in Santa Felicidade. Their consistency impresses me! Year by year, great food and great service! Polenta frita is one of my favorite in there!

This is one of the largest restaurants in the world! For this alone, it is worth the visit. The food though, not so impressive. The dishes are mainly fried chicken, lasagna, pasta, and polenta- all served family style. The restaurant is located in a old Italian colony surrounded by several other large Italian restaurants. Great experience, not so great food.

But, wow, the polenta fries were amazing. The first thing they do is deliver several plates of different foods from potato salad, chicken wings, polenta fries, green salad, beef, etc. They then come by to serve you the pasta dishes - you choose which to eat. There is an abundance of food. The service never stops. And the service itself... More
