This restaurant exist since 1979 and has a very good food. Very tradicional, very "from Curitiba". Once you get a table at the old part(better), the food is soooooo good. If you want to have some beer, try the "Submarino", a mug of beer with a little mug with steinhegger inside. This bar/restaurant is located in the old centre of Curitiba.

This place is good to grab a drink, but that's about it. Many better options in the close surroundings. The food is a stale tryout of German cuisine (and that's already nothing to write home about), but I guess it works when you are really drunk.

A big bar with plenty of TV screens to watch football..... Good chilled beer (the only way to drink beer!) I had an Eisbein which was very tasty and enjoyable. The bill came to US$50 including plenty of beer. If you like a rowdy night out with the gang this is the place to go... decorated in typical German Stube... More

First of all I have to say that we are Germans and we know how German food tastes. We have been to this place on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was quite crowded with locals and tourists. We ordered the Eisbein dish for two and had an apple pie as desert. Ok the food looked quite nice but the... More

This place is a restaurant / bar. Good to drink a beer or a caïpirinha with friends. You can also have dinner there. Many dishes have a German origin. It is not high gastronomy but the value is ok for the money. Not a romantic place to have dinner in couple but good to share a meal or a drink... More

This is a gorgeous restaurant ... very German. Going in gives one the feeling that they've stepped back in time a tad, into an olden-day German establishment. Visited for the first time yesterday and will definitely go back for the atmosphere and ambience.

Although everyone rates this bar as a typical german one id say is more of a far replica adapted to the brazilian taste. I quite like the atmosphere over there but is overated and pricey. One submarino is 10reais and its a rip off. The food is far from typical german if you know what I mean. I have lived... More

Located in the historic center, the place resembles a traditional, German countryside tavern with its fully hardwood construction, decoration and soundtrack. A traditional place in town - it opened in the 70's and is still alive and in good shape when many of its contemporaries peers have closed their doors already - the restaurant and bar offers a German style... Local typical German Style restaurant, the Schwarzwald (black forest in German) was called as the German Bar since people could not pronounce the proper name. The place is basically built on hard wood which gives a nice atmosphere and on weekends have always German songs been played. Great place for having some beer (I recommend the Submarine - Beer with... More
