A local bakery...bread specials each day and a great variety of pastries. All made fresh daily on site. Bring a cooler to take some home.

We stopped in to pick up some bread and decided to have a coffee and pastry, Only a couple of tables, but nice to sit and watch the busy bakers filling the many orders for the high demand of baked goods. You don't find bakeries like this in most small towns. A real asset and gem for Ashland!

I still can't believe it. The bagels here are amazing. I don't mean amazing for the area... I mean AMAZING! I'm originally from a big city, and hold my bagel (and bread and bakery) standards VERY high. I had truthfully been on the hunt for a REAL bagel, and popped into Ashland Baking Company on Sunday because Ive been buying... More

I know, it sounds like hyperbole. Picked up a cinnamon roll the first time I was in Ashland. My wife and I shared it on the drive back to MN and thought it was the best Cinnamon roll we had ever eaten (I am 52 years old and used to live in NYC. My wife is a pretty good baker... More

This is a small place but the bread and pastry is really good. My favorites are the caramel pecan rolls, cinnamon rolls and the apricot danish but get there early because they sell out. They supply the "Black Cat Coffee" shop across the street.

We love to visit artisian bakeries where you can taste good hand crafted breads, pastries and see people who stand behind what they sell. We stopped at the bakery after the half marathon and got a box filled with raspberry and blueberry danishes for the ones who had stayed at home. Well they were happy. And I got a thermos... More

best baked goods we have eaten in a long time. On Saturday we tried the danish with fruit filling; they are so light and flaky. Then on Sunday we returned for cinnamon rolls and coffee before heading to church. If you are in need of a meal, just cross the street to the Black Cat for sandwiches, soup or quiche.... More

It is a walk-up bakery, not a restaurant. The artisan breads and pastries are simply delicious. Their cinnamon rolls are made with croissant dough and their scones are flavorful. The Cranberry Walnut Bread was moist and full of cranberries and walnuts. I will go there everytime I am in the area.

We bought some dinner rolls, rye bread, and cranberry walnut bread. All of them were very good. Be sure to get one of their frequent purchase cards when you buy bread there so you can earn free baked goods in the future.

this delightful small town bakery is 2 short blocks from Highway 2, and right where the Farmer's Saturday Morning Market sets up at Main and Chapple Ave. in downtown Ashland. I had the lovely round loaf of their famous Cranberry Walnut Sourdough sliced, and took home the Peanutbutter Chocolate bars and Raspberry Oatmeal bars for the family. All were YUMMY... More
