Convenient, that's it.

We ran through the rain to this restaurant next door to the hotel where we were staying. It was surprising how few people were in there on a Thursday night, with the big Apple Festival happening the next few days. The service was quite good, and we were served our drinks quickly. I should have... read more

My husband and I have been to Explorer's Point 5 times now, with recently the beginning of December. We thought we would give it one last time since we had 4 other bad experiences. Needless to say, we will never eat at Explorer's Point again! The food was bland, and the service was not good either. We could not finish... More

I used to love this place when it first opened. They had good food and a great view that made coming here worth the money. Now they can't even bother to print new menus, they just cross off items in sharpie. The view is still great, but that is all that is left. There are plenty of great places in... More

If the appearance of our menu is the only complaint; I will take it! I agree I was 110% mortified when I started with the organization to find the sloppy menus and I am pleased to report a new menu has been approved for printing! More

I have been here three times in the last year. My last visit was in July. Took some associates there for dinner. Our waitress was great. My associates both ordered a nice steak dinner. I asked about the bbq ribs and was told the ribs were not so good and they were trying to get better ones. I went with... More

Really enjoyed the Whitefish BLT and the fresh cut fries were perfect. My beautiful wife loved the burger made from fresh hamburger and our kids shared the cheesy mac & cheese.

My wife and I are local residents and have eaten at Explorer's Point before, with the previous visit having been about two years ago. We did not have glowing recollections of the food, but decided to give it a try again because it has a salad bar. This was a very big mistake. My wife ordered the prime rib special... More

Friday fish fry and the special was all you can eat Perch or Pollack. I had the perch and my husband had the pollack. Both were deep fried and just OK. The salad bar had a good variety and also had clam chowder or broccoli cheese. We were not impressed with the food although I have to say the service... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way to the North Shore of Minnesota. We only had a simple meal of soup for lunch, but we enjoyed our meal and the view of the lake on a beautiful day! Love the rustic wooden decor and the large fireplace. Must be cozy in the wintertime! It was a quiet, when we... More

Upon arrival the building and setting on the lake were beautiful! Then I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with waffle fries. The fries were great! The chicken was horrible. The grilled chickens skin was so dry and hard I could chew it and there was no dressing in the wrap. The two people I was with had an ok food... More
