You have to try the taco pizza! All of Frankie's pizzas are very good. It is a relatively thin crust with very flavorful sauce and the sausage is spiced there in the restaurant. The taco pizza is unique where it is topped by heap of crushed Doritos. If you are around the Ashland WI area I highly recommend it.

Frankie's is always full of Ashland residents, and that says a lot. We loved the pizza and my sons say it was totally worth the amount we paid! The atmosphere is very informal, and you feel like you have traveled in time to when their juke box was new.

Arrived late in Ashland ,WI and wanted to have pizza delivered to our room....so I called and asked if they were able to accept debit/credit cards and the fellow on the phone said no...checks/cash only...so being Canadian I asked if they accepted Canadian funds....and with a chuckle he said "No"....now being close to Canada and being a high tourist stopover,... place has been in business for 51 years. Any time us natives return to town, first stop is Frankies. Usuually more stops depending on the number of days. Recommend the Works, or the Special and the Taco pizza is the best in the world

This is the traditional place everyone who grew up in Ashland returns to. The pizza was as we remembered. The waitress was a little "spacey" and not too efficient, but very sweet. A good experience.

I love the pizza here... many locals come home and want to go back to Frankie's for pizza while they are here. Lots of choices for the pizza and other menu items as well (although I have never had anything but pizza). Occasionally the wait can be long due to a lot of take out orders.

Pleasantly surprised at the awesome pizzas they have. Crust, sauce and toppings were great. Fed 6 of us for under $30. Will stop there next time in town

The pizza was a thin flaky crust. Kinda greasy but really good. The interior is certainly old fashion and dark....but I'm not here to judge, just to eat. Affordable. I didn't leaving stuffed, but that's perfect.

Don't let the appearance fool you. This is a great place for pizza at a reasonable price. The pizza crust was amazing and the ingredients on the pizza were fresh and plentiful. It looks a little tired on the outside and the interior could be brighter but the food makes up for it.
