Great coffee, friendly and helpful staff, fantastic atmosphere, free wi-fi, cool t-shirts and other gear. Worth the extra two blocks off the main drag to the older part of town.

A nice place to sit and relax over a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Well-attended by locals, so it must be good.

Stopped in on our way though Ashland to have a cup of coffee and chat with friends. Cozy atmosphere and great coffee.

Great cafe with great coffee and free wifi. Barista's are friendly and helpful. I will always buy my coffee here while I'm in Ashland.

Great place to go on a Sunday morning for a good cup of coffee and cinnamon roll! We stopped here on our way out of town and enjoyed this cute little coffee house.

My great grand father went here over 35's years ago. Then the bar closed shortly after he died.I live in Arizona now when i come back ti visit family it has become a regular stop for me. Not only for sentimental purpose the coffee is great, service is wonderful, and BC has a very comfortable feel.

Food and drinks are awesome. You will need to be patient to get your food. They are slower as all food and drinks are made fresh but it is definitely worth the wait.

Got to Black Cat sunday morning a few minutes to opening and was able to come in early and order a latte with an extra shot which was fantastic. I drove 10 miles off my route to Duluth to get this coffee to start my day off right. Well worth the trip. Love the interior.

We did not eat here but the latte from here was second to none. It is now my standard to compare other coffehouses to. Well done.

Simple Organic healthy foods and drinks are the focus of this coffeehouse. This was much appreciated after a week of typical restaurant food. The coffee was very good as well. The equivalent to Starbuck Coffee. We enjoyed the artsy atmosphere. We would visit again.
