What a surprise

Small restaurant with genuine italian food, great ambiance. Generous portions, great pizza. Some room for improvement concerning service and waiting times.

If you are looking for an authentic Italian restaurant in Belem, should Cantina Italiana be your response. Both the atmosphere and the food are genuine italian. You get a feeling that you are at a restaurant in a small Italian city. If you don't plan to go for a starter, change your mind and pick from the selections of appertizers... More

The restaurant is fairly pricey, located as it is in one of Belem's top districts, but the restaurant is worth it, and as most dishes appeared to be enough to serve many eaters, one can pace one's self accordingly.
