I was invited for lunch at this restaurant and it turned out to be a great experience. The restaurant was clean and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. We each had the "menu degustacao" offered at lunch time and it was fantastic. They told us that the portions are reduced, but there was plenty of food. Each meal included... More

Definitely one of the best restaurants around. Few times, even in the U.S, have I had better meals than at Taypá. I have not been to Aquavit, but I'm safe to say that Taypá has similar quality and is definitely very gourmet. The ceviche is exquisite, and the the main dishes are excellent (I personally recommend the Alzafrán and the... More

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Brasilia. The ceviche is always perfect and fresh and the main dishes are equally as good, whether you choose meat or fish, it´s always guaranteed to be a good meal. Their pisco sour is a must have and their wine list is varied, however the last time I was there they were... More

It really is a great restaurant. The Food is really good. As starter we had the "Trio de Ceviche" which is a taste of three ceviches of your choice. Main dish, we had the "Tacu tacu Taypa", again a very tasty dish, mixing shrimps, calamares and Filet.... And since everything was so great, we decided to go for a dessert,... More

We went there yesterday and it was just perfect. We ordered a trio of ceviches as a starter and I also had a trio of shots with pisco - both soooo good! As main dish we ordered the tacu tacu and perfectly cooked! We ordered the limeña as dessert and it was one of the best desserts I ever had... More

Might be that not all the food on the menu is as bad as the duck, although I did read reviews of other patrons who also complained that the meat was tough. This duck was definitely overcooked and chewy and simply drowned in soy sauce. The product of a chef that has absolutely no imagination. I cannot understand people who... More

Nice food. They offer a fusion menu mixing traditional kitchen from Peru with international known dishes. Don´t miss the Ceviches as a starter. Good choice of fish and meat as main course.

It is considered the best perusian restaurant outside Peru. Don't miss it! It has a great range from fish to meat. Excelent desserts. Nice ambience.

I like allmost everything at Taypa, especialy the food. I have been there several times just to eat ceviche, it's simply fantastic. Raw fish cured in lemmon and spices, that couldn´t be better. To drink I really need a wonderful white wine.
