“Pricy but worth it”

Very small place, few tables, simple decoration, reminds a lot some family places over Europe. I went there with my girlfriend, had a very pleasant dinner, helpful and nice waiter. Have visited this restaurant for decades now! It was one of the first "feel in Europe" places in the new capital! It has kept its quality, atmosphere and tradition. You can not expect an inovative cuisine but can be sure that they will serve you well!

A tiny cozy restaurant run by the same owner for over 25 years (he inherited it..and the recipes... from its previous French owner). I always go for the steak béarnaise which is out of this world. Limited wine list. Quite expensive the last time I was there, but well worth a visit for a relaxed candle-lit meal (dinner) with that... More

We are old customers of La Chaumiere for years. But, our review desapear! Wasn't our fault!But in a few words we want to confirm that is one of the most traditional and excellent restaurant in Brasília. But don't order nothing diferent than stakes. Poor wine list.
