Very good meal

This is a nice restaurant located in the "triangle" in Vitoria, a restaurant area, the hotel suggested that we should try the "Moquqeca" at this fine establishment, we were not disappointed, however we were only two, it looked like a portion for 4 or more. What a dinner!!! The moqueca with Badejo fish and shrimps was well served for 2. It was delicious! Pirão is the name and a side dish too, I can tell that it was the best pirão I've ever tried! The place is old and not really cozy, it's got hundreds of pictures on the walls showing Brazilian celebrities.

Try the moqueca de camarão, a regional specialty, but be prepared to pay a premium price, especially if you choose the one with the extra large shrimp, which, sadly, are over cooked to the point of displeasure. And you should have a strong stomach tolerance for dendé oil, as you will be ingesting a fair bit of this stuff with... More

Excellent brazilian fish soup, with ocean fresh fish, shrimps, crabs and many other - the secret is that everything is fresh, maximum two days old - perfect service and good price for an unforgettable lunch or dinner - don't miss it

I live in Rio and recently made my first trip to Vitoria. A colleague recommended Pirão, and I'm very glad he did. I learned that the Moqueca Capixaba that is offered in the state of Espírito Santo is different from the Moqueca we get back in Rio. I'm not qualified to rhapsodize about the differences, but I can say that... More

If you want brasilian fish in a brazilian way, this is the place to go. One moqueca is good for 3, if you pay 60% get half plate that may be good for 2. Great beer selection and friendly atmosphere with good and courteous service.

The best one in all Espirito Santo. " De comer rezando". Waiter Joao is a sort of personage in the place. Very nice.

Pirao Restaurant @ Triangle, Praia do Canto - Vitoria. The best Moqueca Capixaba ever! Moqueca is a Brazilian recipe based on salt water fish stew in tomatoes, onions, garlic, coriander and some palm oil. Superior service: your moqueca seasoning is customizable according to your preferences.

Search for "moqueca capixaba". A tomato and parsley based stew, made of fish, prawn ou lobster. Delicious, and a side dish called "pirao", made of manioc powder ant fish stock, with parsley and small cuts of fish, may be done with prawn added. Good service, poor wine chart, and only pilsen beer amongst the cheapest from Brazil. Food delicious.

The best moqueca I have ever had. I could not stop eating and the side of Pirao was incredible. Have been to the restaurant three times and will continue to return. Although a bit pricey, one dish fed both of us...
