We love to come as a family and sit in the sushi bar area. The kids love the decor and everyone is so friendly. Food is fresh and made right in front of you. We have never been disappointed.

I have been all over this world and ate Hibachi every chance I get. Nakashimas is by FAR the #1 place I have ever been for dinner. The owner has become a friend to us over the years and Tim is one of the most caring owners I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food is top notch!... More

The staff is friendly and do a great job at customer service. Great place to hang out with friends. As far as the food, get ready for salt. Everything seamed to be soaked in salt and then they give you sauces that even add more salt. Drink plenty of water, you're going to need it after this meal.

My cousin recently took me to this place to have sushi. She ordered a variety of different things for me to try. I have to say my first sushi experience was a positive one, and I may become a sushi lover. I recommend shrimp tempura...excellent. Mexican roll was very good, too.

I first visited Nakashima in Appleton while on holiday in Wisconsin in 2005. I have visited Wisconsin annually ever since and I ALWAYS have a meal in Nakashima. I love this place. It was the first time I'd seen a Hibachi show in a restaurant - however I've since discovered that the 'show' is pretty much the same the world... More

My wife and I frequently visited the Nakashima's in Green Bay, but tried the Appleton location for the first time in late August. For the most part the food and drinks were identical between the two locations, and the service and hibachi "show" were pretty much the same too. Not going to lie, this place is a pain to get... Was good for the first time going. Have always heard it was expensive but really wasn't. Although we didn't have any drinks or appetizers. Will for sure be going back again.

We were looking forward to a nice meal out without the kids. The food looked so fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, they drown everything in Soy Sauce / Terriaki and the only thing we could taste was sodium. If you don't eat a lot of salt on your food, you will not enjoy this restaurant. The overabundance of sodium in soy... More

We usually have one or two meals here one more in the area. Atmosphere is pleasing. We have always found service very good and friendly. We have taken to eating our sushi and sashimi in the bar/lounge area versus the dining area, Because we have found it more relaxing here in comparison to eating in the sushi section where we... I was in town visiting a friend and we decided to eat at Nakashima's. What a fun experience! Our cook (or whatever they're called here?) was very funny and talented and our waiter was friendly and serviced us quickly. While there was tons of food and plenty of leftovers, I will say that the sushi wasn't the best. If you're... More
