My husband and I were visiting Appleton and wanted to try out a local (non-chain) restaurant. Stone Cellar Brewpub was recommended to us by the front desk staff at our hotel (GrandStay Hotel & Suites) over another local restaurant. We were told the food at the other place was average considering the price, and that Stone Cellar Brewpub was one... More

Although we're not beer drinkers, we still liked Stone Cellar for their food. A very expansive menu also includes recommendations for an accompanying beer. If you are a wine drinker, there are only limited choices for wines, this is not a slam, as the whole point of Stone Cellar is their beer selection. For dinner, we were able to snag... More

As recent relo to Appleton, we have been looking for good food at a good price. Stone Cellar met on both of the needs. The food is great and very fresh! The beer is even better, staff knows how to match food to beer and make a great experience.

We have been here a couple times and this time we brought my mother and father in law because we love the food. I ordered the bison stroganoff and while I'm sure someone else would have loved the dish, I just didn't like it. I ordered a different entree and my server was extremely accommodating. The manager on duty came... More

I've been going to Stone Cellar for about three years now and though its mainly for the beer, I hear from friends that the food is pretty good too. But my review is for the beer. Usually about 10 or 12 different kinds available at any time on tap including seasonal brews. They fill my growlers so I can enjoy... More

Visited Stone Cellar with a work group for pizza and a brewery tour. The tour was very informative and the pizza was fantastic.

When traveling we love to sample local beers and this is a great place to do so. May I recommend the Houdini Honey Wheat? It was fantastic and only $4 for a pint. Great location right on the river and hey, when they call it a cellar, they are serious. You are underground in a beautiful dining room unless you... More

Was driving past and saw this wonderful place. Was staying in Appleton one night only and felt lucky to find this gem. Husbands loved the beer and all our meals were first class. server Bobby had so much time for us and explained all the beers, and both Men in our party are UK Publicans, so this was very interesting.... This is a must see and go to in Appleton. They make there own beer and if you want a tasting they offer "flight" which are manageble servings to share ( or not, lol) . The beer is complete craftsmanship of the highest caliber and the food is delicious as well. They have everything from entrees to burgers or appetizers, something... More

Only had time for a brief stop and a few beer tastings - but great ambiance and cool vibe! Nice Beer Garden Patio and Bar area. Will definitely have to stop again and try the food!
