There is no other place like Zulu in Pelourinho and we are very proud of this fact.We offer vegetarian and international food as well as the typical Bahian dishes that everyone wants to try along with one of a kind cocktails and refreshing juices. We take after hip places around the world and understand the value in costumer service, comfortable ambiance and fun crowds. Come here to watch sports TV, use our wi-fi or find out interesting tourist information while enjoying a delicious Caipirinha. Sit outside and enjoy the breeze or sit inside and jam to the music, your choice!

Best food and staff in town

Great Aztec burger and fries and just lovely staff! Save location. Ate there for lunch and dinner in one day! Discount if you are staking at Galleria 13 hostel which is honestly the best hostel in Bahia!

The restaurant bar is located at the far end of a darkish street, so we were a bit nervous walking down. But the restaurant itself was nice and chilled. The staff was friendly and spoke English. They also had English translation on their menu. We ordered a vegetarian fried rice and the Zulu speciality (can't remember the exact name but... More

The best food we had in Brazil. So much flavour and prices were pretty reasonable, especially with the 10% discount whilst staying at Hostel Galeria 13. The zulu house beef strips with potato wedges was to die for. Ate here every night, you should go for sure. Also nice to sit out on the cobbled streets.

They had a great, beef burger and even greater beef fajitas. Comes with delicious sides, salsas, guacamole, sauces etc. The owner speaks english, and helped us with nightlife advise. Free wifi is also a plus. Not the cheapest, but definitely not expensive either. Very good value for money. Lunch or dinner.

Lovely little corner spot in the Pelorinho, just off the main throughfares. Very tasty food while if not cheap is not overpriced. Attached to a hostel so probably gets very lively later on, but was not overly busy at lunch time. Has good seating outside.

Me and my husband dived in here when torrential rain stopped our sight seeing! Great Caipirinhas were enjoyed by us both!

Go, don't stop, don't think, just go. Best fox I've had since arriving in brazil a few months ago. You can really tell the chef puts his heart in the food and cares about what he's doing.

loved to eat at Zulus just around the corner from Galeria 13 and to hang around there. Enjoyed the Moqueca with fish or vegetables, the salads with fried shrimps or chicken, the fresh fruit juices and sitting on the street watching people passing by or chatting with other travellers or listening to the drums which are always there in Pelhourinho.

The food is good, BUT they don't take cards! and moreover there are cockroaches in the outside food court. So take this into consideration before you go.
