I spent a night just hanging out and drinking beer, I really enjoyed that it is located in a safe and quiet corner. Cool.

We ate here a couple of times when we were in Salvador based on the good reviews it had. The Mochecha we had wasn´t great (had better elsewhere), but the vegetarian lentil burger was nice. It was really quiet when we were there so not the best atmosphere.

It's a nice place to spend a meal, there are some tables at the street where it's easy to feel your self a part of the city. You can get a discount if you are staying at "Galeria 13" hostel, but you should ask for a special menu for that. There are tasty food to eat and of course the... More

We went to bar Zulu because we received a discount there through our hostel, but it's not really worth seeking out. The portions are HUGE, though the meat isn't of the highest quality and they only have two local dishes.

Actually you can eat a lot of different things at Zulu bar and portions are really generous but i suggest you to had the expereance in your life of eating Mocheca with or without shrimps!! You'll love it! and evenmore the place is so nice and not "a restaurant" you can have just a drink, or a sandwich or a... More

My husband and I stopped in for dinner and had one of the freshest, most flavorful meals of our trip. Their veggie burger was fantastic and my husband raved about his Moroccan Lentil dish (and he's a carnivore). For vegetarians traveling with non-vegetarian family or friends, there are lots of delightful options for everyone, at prices that are generally lower... More

Zulu is a great place for a drink or meal. It is fun and the staff are friendly. I would recommend it highly. It does cater for visitors but the Savadorians probably don't eat in Pelhourino anyway.

I found myself eating here nearly every night of my stay in Salvador, whether I was eating in a big or small group with friends, or getting food to take back to the hostel on my own. I literally followed the amazing smell of the thai prawns from my window to bar zulu and they were just delicious. Their soups... More

I went there just once, but left with a very good overall impression. Nice, relaxed ambiance. Ordered a steak sandwich (really well put together, tasty stuff) and a watermelon juice (above average). The service was uber friendly.
