Excelent ambience, I strongly recommend the lenguado with palm risotto and the cheese cake, superb! Exquisite decoration that matches the first rate attention and staff kindness, while lookimg at the boats and fishermen at the bay. Fine wine, good price/quality rate. Hoghly recommended.

The overall experience was really good. Food + scenic view + good service, the big problem is that the parking area is so restrict and they are charging the customers for it, what is so uncomfortable and expensive.

Amado is high priced but worth the cost. The setting is beautiful, with outdoor seating overlooking the bay and marina and a handsomely decorated room indoors. The mostly local patrons were dressed casually but smartly. The food was quite good, especially the lobster, and service was attentive and gracious.

Really outstanding experience. The view from the balcony over the sea was beautiful. Wine list was good for Brazil. Local food (we just had fish and seafood) was fresh and delicious. Have the grouper if it's on the menu. The Caparinhas were super. The price was on par with most North American cities.

We came especially for the lobster and it was great. We arrived quite late and it took some time before we were served but is was worth waiting for.... We were 6 and all quite happy, but it is ofcourse quite expensive, we paid over 250 real per person !

We arrived with no reservation, were seated promptly at an outside table beside the water - great view, very romantic. However the waiters are sullen, unsmiling and the service is excruciatingly slow. The drinks took half an hour to arrive, we had to ask for the menu, the food took over an hour. The steak was good, the ravioli were... More

Very nice location and great service and ambiance, clearly one of the top restaurants in Salvador. We had mix seafood grill which was not impressive, but in compensation the grilled lobster with risoto was simply wonderfull....one of best Lobsters i had and for sure the best in Brazil.

Nice view ( Bahia Marina ), excelent atmosphere, perfect service, delicious food, honest prices. A three couse meal, with two glasses of good white chilean wine, for US$ 75. Not cheap, but Brazil is an expensive country to visit. Restaurant must be reached by car or taxi, because it wouldn't be safe to walk around that neighborhood. Nontheless, it's a... More

My wife (who is Brazilian) and I were in Salvador for a wedding and we wanted to book Amado for my Wife's Birthday Dinner as she had heard this restaurant was very nice. She sent an email in Portuguese to the restaurant requesting a reservation 6 WEEKS before our planned dinner date. The restaurant responded with an email confirming the... More

The food was really nicely cooked and presented, especially the fish. There was a problem in the translation of the "Dried Meat" 1st course dish and not what we expected, how ever there were no complaints about the other dishes at all. The service however as others have said is TERRIBLE!! We had to ask for the wine list, the... More
