Very nice very well decorated restaurant and delicious food with Bahian flavour. The restaurant was packed with locals...and if you can sit outside you got a beautiful view over the bay.

Amado belongs to chef Edinho. This is one of the best restaurants in Salvador. Food has a french accent, but always with Brazilian ingredientes. Many local specials prepared in the french school, but the result is a very well done Brazilian food. The menu has some pasta, fishes, shrimp, meat. Expensive. The Restaurant is built over the bay - wonderful.... More

We had a wonderful time, we ordered some cocktails and right away they brought a board with warm bread, different types of (small portions) cheese, butters and ceviche, very good, but they don’t tell you and you don’t find out until they bring the check that they charge R$22 per person for this appetizer, they brought us a 2nd round... We finished our one week stay in Salvador there. This is a very unique sightseeing place. We loved it. Unfortunately we went for sea food pasta that were rather average. Service was first class from valet parking to maitre d hotel. French Champagne was the best price in town. We will return to have more local Bahia food.

Spectacular view and location for this fine restaurant that offer a wide choice of nice recipes. We took very good oysters, a very tasteful pasta of seafood, and a generous and delicious fisherman platter. Everything was absolutely perfect (except the pasta texture that was a bit too soft, but consistent with Brazilian taste). Good wine liste and liqueur choice. A... More

This is a very attractive, up-market venue with river views. Outdoor tables (weather permitting) or indoor by windows are preferred. Service is prompt, skillful and accomodating. Bread service is a nice touch but startlingly expensive (be warned, you'll get no warning from the waiter). Food, all selections, was good but we didn't feel it was quite up to the expectations... This is BY FAR the best restaurant in all of Salvador. We went to a number of top rated restaurants in the city during our World Cup trip, but nothing came even remotely close to Amado! This restaurant has everything! From the beautiful view (whether you sit outside on the deck overlooking the water or inside overlooking the water through... More

One of the top restaurants in Salvador. It's almost unnecessary to mention the great architecture and ambience of the place. Great. If it's not too hot or if you're having dinner, it may be nice to try and get a table outside. Otherwise if you prefer the air conditioning, go for a place at the window. Once settled, try the...
