Description: Situated in the history of the Big House "charming" streets of Pelourinho, "La Figa" can be considered a little piece of Italy in Salvador. Salvatore Distefano, chose this name not only as a symbol of luck and prosperity, but also to honor the beauty of Brazilian women. In his town, Padova, "figa bella" means beautiful woman, so the two senses are complementary since most luck in the life of a man is to find a wonderful woman. The restaurant has a capacity of 80 seats. Fresh Pasta and seafood are our specialties. The Laboratory provides handmade every day fettuccine, pappardelle, tagliolini, ravioli, gnocchi, bread, focaccia, grissini; mussels, clams and oysters always arrive fresh from Santa Catarina. Abound tasty entrees and grilled meat, desserts are made exclusively by our team so that:. "We can not make a dessert menu because it is subject to the creativity of our team The kitchen is well visible, simple, Mediterranean style with it You can have a vision of our leaders and Osmar Silvino in the preparation of our dishes. La Figa is considered one of the best restaurants cost / benefit of the city. Our restaurant features a wine cellar with over 100 labels from different places of the world.

La Figa was taken over by new owners about a year ago or so, the restaurant changed name to Archangelo. The new owner basically killed what was one of Salvador's most precious little restaurants by interfering in everything a seasoned team of chefs and waiters did. I would come there and the waiters would suggest to me what to eat... More

We really don't understand the good comments about this restaurant. We have ordered 3 different dishes all were just awful, the worst italian restaurant we have eat all over the world. But the worst was the paiement, they have added twice the 10% of service, one time in the invoice and one time manually in a paper saying we have... More

We were looking for La Figa and some locals informed us that we will find it under the name L'Archangelo. At our arrival the atmosphere seemed nice, people sitting outside and inside as well. The waiter who came to our table was quite unfriendly from the beginning. We ordered the drinks and the food, everything was extremely slow. After seeing... More

We saw this attractive restaurant as we wandered around Pelourinho and had a look at the menu. Prices seemed a bit high but not too bad so we went in and sat down upsatirs where most tables were already taken. We had to ask for the menu, then we had to call the waitress to ask for drinks. We then... More

Who knew you could find excellent Italian in the Pelo! This was indeed an unexpected find. The food was absolutely scrumptious. I could tell that the owners were tired (...the place was literally over-run with world cup visitors...), but they were still warm and accommodating. highly recommended.

The food is absolutely delicious and while the price isn't exactly low budget friendly it's not outrageous either. Here's the thing though. It has a different name now or at least two names. The umbrellas still say La Figa but I think it goes by L'Arrr...something or another. Same location though!

Authentic Italian food in the historic district. It was a rainy night, on a cobblestone street, vino, great food. Highly recommend!

La Figa worth a visit. The ambience is quite special and the service amazing. I've ordered a glass of prosecco and although it is not a current practice for them to serve by the glass, the manager opened one to serve me. I've ordered a grilled lobster which was perfectly cooked with a very reasonable price. I could not be... More

My wife and I walked here from our hotel in the Historic district. It was a lively night on the streets and we asked for a table outside. The food was delicious. The wait staff attentive. Beautiful evening. Good if not great Italian. Definitely worth a stop.
