Food is really good, but the waiters are usually on a bad mood and forgetting all about you. When the place is packed it can take you an hour to get what you ordered.

For the true lovers of Acai, Waku Sese is a must try place. The restaurant was first opened as a sort of amazonic traditional food luncheonnete in Vieiralves neighboorhood in Manaus. It's a great restaurant with varied regional food, where you can experience from various flavors of tapioca (pancake made with cassava flour) to several fish (Tambaqui, Arapaima, etc.) and turtle meat! Besides all this, the desserts are very good ... recommend trying açaí in the bowl!

Not so long ago, this restaurant use to be a lot better...now they serve tacaca in a mug...anyway! The acai is very good, but the service is ridiculous...it's not so pricy. I recommend.

I've been corrected by locals that claim that it is not a chain restaurant (because I believe it is only here in Manaus), but they have little shops in the malls, as well as full restaurants, serving Acai and other local specialty desserts...just like McDonald's. The location in Vieralves is just one... More
