Even better than sayadia, if you've had that. The address for the restaurant on the main square, by the Teatro Amazonas is: Rua José Clemente, 596, Manaus Perhaps they are run by the same people? People seem to be reviewing the wrong location. Anyway, despite the confusion, I wanted to write a glowing review for the food I had at... More

I really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. Nice service. Really reasonable prices and delicious food. The location is perfect. I'm not a big meat eater and didn't want a large meal, so I ordered two side dishes including beans and rice and fried egg w/ manioc flour. Both were delicious. I wish I'd asked for some kind of sauce... More

Ate here over the time of the World Cup when the square was very busy. Me & a friend shared a large Tambaqui fish and a few beers, not because that was necessarily what we wanted but because it was one of two things still available on the whole menu. However, the fish and sides were amazing. Fish ribs were... More

This place, located right off the main square by the Teatro Amazon, is absolutely fantastic. My wife and I shared a Large Tambaqui fish, with a couple of beers before heading to the Honduras vs Switzerland match. Sitting outside, listening to music and enjoying our food was the best meal we had in Manaus. This fish was delicious and the... More

I dont usually like fish, but tambaqui de band is a whole different thing. I loved it. No other place in the world you'll find fish with "ribs".

I'm from Manaus and I must say there are other places you should try to have a great experience of eating traditional food. But still it is a comfortable climatization place and has very nice waiters. Beware when it's busy because it usually takes more than one hour to serve the food. You must pay attention that almost all dishes... More

We are alos here for the World Cup and understand the crowds of people is more than they expected, so when they were out of almost everything on the menu we weren't upset and ordered what we could. Although looking back the only items he said were left were the most expensive on the menu, so bigger automatic tip for... More

This place took over an hour and half to deliver our food and delivered one dish at a time for a period of 45 minutes. The food was served lukewarm and three tables surrounding us were all given food before us despite being seated after we were. Fish was ok, but not worth the terrible service and the lack of... More

We came here to watch one of the World Cup games and have dinner. This turned out to be an excellent idea. Opposite the beautiful theatre in the centre of Manaus, there are tables that fall out of the restaurant and onto the town square. We came around 1730, just as the sun was going down and enjoyed a couple... More

Especialist in Tambaqui, one of the bests amazon fish. You can choice for the size of fish and they cook it very fast. Great prices and the renovated the menu generally, trying to find new flavors using the local fish. Good enviroment and espetecular fish.
