It's always fun to return to Pier 4 whether for an awesome breakfast or ribs or smoked pork for lunch. Food is always served quickly after ordering and arrives at the table hot. Service is attentive and friendly.

We got ribs to go & the instructions worked like magic. Who knew you should reheat ribs in cling wrap? Moist, meaty, finger licking good and I sooooo wish they were closer to us. Would've liked to eat dinner in the restaurant--right on the water view--but we had too much going on, so we picked up ribs when they opened... More

My family has been frequenting Pier 4 forever. It has not changed since our very first visit . The food, the service, the cozy atmosphere and friendly people have been constant. It is the first place choice for breakfast or any meal. Love dining on the screened-in porch in the Summer.

We stopped here for lunch. We arrived at 1:45 pm just making the 2:00 closing time as this restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch. We ordered the potato pancake as our side with a pork entree. WoW! They were so good we ended up ordering two more pancakes. The potato pancakes are served with butter and apple sauce.... More

Another great breakfast at Pier 4. Family of 7 served speedily, always friendly staff. We enjoy sitting in the screen porch during warmer months and being close to the passing trains. No kids menu so you'll need to split adult meals. Homemade jams and jellies.

I recently visited Alma for the first time. At my Aunt's recommendation, we went to Pier 4 for lunch. I was a bit skeptical -- seeing the sign for "the Best BBQ by a Dam Site" made me both laugh and wonder what we'd gotten ourselves in for. I live in central Texas where we take BBQ quite seriously, and... More

Stopped here for breakfast and it was so good and fairly priced we had to stop again the next day!! Everything was delicious, generous portions and not too greasy. The omelets and hash-browns were perfect and the pancakes are the best I've ever had!! The only reason for the 4 star review was that our service and wait time to... More

I found this small cafe to have an average lunch menu. The staff, however, was very much above average. I would describe the decor as eclectic. The restroom was worth a visit even if you don't have to use the facilities!

We were so glad we made it to Alma before 2pm. This was by far the best BBQ food we have ever had. The pulled pork/rib combo was out of this world. And yes, the potato pancakes are a must also! The staff was awesome too! Thanks for the great experience! We shall return!!!!!
