The food was quite average. My steak was nice but a bit overcooked, quite small and served with fried potatoes and rice. I just don’t get rice and potatoes on the same plate. The brownie I had for desert was too dry, overcooked and served hot. The service was good while the male waiter was there. Then he went out... More

We went here every evening when we were in Samaipata. The food was good, the service was good, and there was WiFi. Also very cosy atmosphere. Not open for lunch.

We loved Latina Cafe. Ambiance is perfect. The food was good and well portioned. The service was attentive and friendly. For dessert we had a delicious brownie. So good we returned twice. Probably the best restaurant in Samaipata.

Overall this restaurant is good, but not excellent. This is a typical foreign owned restaurant, and also serving was not by Bolivians. The food was good but not excellent, and was a combination of local food with an international character. It is a little bit out of the way from the center of town - but still at a very... More

French ownership, same as 1900 Cafe on the plaza. Being a typical American I arrived early enough (7pm) to be the lone diner, although I think business is down everywhere in town, even later in the evening. Service was fine; I couldn't remember what the guide book said about tipping, so I didn't leave the young man enough -- please,... More

A little out of the way, unless you are staying in this part of town or are told by someone, this is probably somewhere you wouldn't discover. The atmosphere is good - soft lighting and good dinner music. The menu offers a good choice of options. The food is average but unfortunately not outstanding. The service is friendly, on the... More

We ended up visiting Latina Cafe both nights we stayed in Samaipata. The food is delicious and the service very warm and friendly. They also had wifi which was helpful since our hostel didn´t!

A lovely romantic setting, on a cold night there is an open fire. The service is super friendly, the food tasty and well presented. You really can't go wrong!

Very nice restaurant, the owner will service you all the way. I order a filet mignon with peper and red wine it was delicious, also spaghetti with red sauce it was good. Cousy and I think the best in town.

The small picturesque village of Samaipata in the Bolivian Andes is host to one of the best restaurants in Bolivia. Frenchman Sylvain Truchot and his chef Linny are remarkable with their dishes. The Pepper Steak in red wine sauce is fantastic !! Great atmosphere, great host and reasonable prices also. If you are within a 100 miles of Samaipata, you... More
