Great place to stop and refresh!

The Cream of Asparagus soup hit the need for a light lunch on our way to Door County from Milwaukee. Lattes, teas, smoothies, coffee and coffee drinks are all on the menu. Baked goods, too. Bright and,d friendly.

We waited 50 minutes to be served. We would have left but you order and pay when you enter and then are given a number to be placed on your table. Never once in that 50 minutes did they check on us, offer us water, refill our coffees. When the food arrived: eggs benedict, the egg yolks were hard (should... More

I would have given this cafe 5 stars, but my husband was not impressed with his sandwich. I loved the ambience and the staff's friendliness. I had a tasty cup of chicken coconut curry soup. My Mediterranean quiche was average and came with a raisin spice muffin and a cup of fruit. Lots of food. My husband's Italian beef was... More

Went here after reading reviews and am so glad we did! I now will have to go thru Algoma on my way to Door County. We arrived for a late breakfast, were greeted by a very friendly lady who explained that you order, get a number and the food is delivered to the table. The menu is more extensive than... More

Have stopped here several times going to Algoma. Most fun to sit and enjoy a latte and watch them present a masterpiece. Young man on yesterday who took pride in topping off the creation. Also good was the lemonade of which they have several flavors. All uninque. Clean and comfortable surrounding make this coffee shop a nice stop.

Enjoyed Caffe Tlazo for lunch on a drive up to Door County and found it to be very inviting and comfortable as long as you don't mind their self-serve order process which can take some time when they are busy. Delicious soup, panini sandwiches and salads.

I get to Cafe Tlazo as often as I can, and always consider it to be a treat to myself. I've always been there for breakfast/lunch and am consistently challenged in deciding what to get - but only because so many things sound wonderful. As a vegetarian, I am especially pleased by the variety of choices for me. A special... More

I decided to take a drive North from Two Rivers to enjoy the Winter landscapes and chose Caffe' Tlazo in Algoma for breakfast. Right on Hwy 42 with plenty of street parking, I almost missed it because the exterior is rather understated--but am I ever glad that I found them!u As it was Sunday morning (church time,) the place was...
