Wow. Just wow.

My daughter and son-in-law were raving about this place, and the drive from Green Bay in late January was long and somewhat harrowing. But once we got there, the fun BEGAN! The building is masonry; hardly new, typical of small town Wisconsin. The space(quite small) was appropriately packed with a... read more

We went with a group of four on a Saturday. We were originally told there would be a 15-30 minute wait, and we were asked to go across the street to have a drink or two while we waited to be called back to the bar. After 50 minutes, we decided to walk back over to see what was going... More

This place is unbelievable It certainly lives up to it tag line of 5 star good in a dive bar Four of us had one of the best meals anywhere in the world The bar is tiny seats like less than 30 people Extensive menu from duck to scallops to flown in fresh fish to steaks and so much more... More

We were here in July and the seating was outside. It was great. The food was excellent. They had a wide range of menu items. Each one in our group ordered something different and everyone was happy with their meal. Would highly recommend.

No finer food served anywhere. Presentation exquisite. Lacking greatly in atmosphere, needs more room for quests.

The fish is outstanding, so are the red meat options. Everything is seasoned and cooked perfectly! The grilled romaine leaps off the plate with flavor. They also make an authentic Wisconsin Old Fashioned. The only thing to keep in mind is that they don't offer a big selection of vegetable/vegetarian options.

My husband and I were staying at a bnb nearby and owner had told us she hadn't been but had heard the food was good. We dressed for fine dining. But jeans and tshirts are are totally acceptable as it is a bar. Service was great! We called about 45 minutes before we got there and we had a table... More

First and foremost, be prepared for a unique experience when going here. I saw several reviews that complained about portions, prices, seating and long waits. It's true, they do not serve large portions, it's not cheap, and you wait a long time just for a seat in a loud, crowded dive bar, yet I LOVED IT! I knew this was... More

We made this road trip (4+ hours) just to try this restaurant. We made a weekend of it and this was definitely one of the highlights! The food, waitstaff and experience was great! Our suggestion is to go shortly after the door opens to get your name on the list and recieve your pager. Then go across the street to... More

the food does not disappoint but the drink prices are absurd for a small town " dive bar ".......the worst offender in my opinion being 8 bucks for a small glass of Spotted Cow....not even 12 oz....who are they kidding? We'll go back for the food, but will make sure to have cocktails first somewhere else!!!
