Great whiskey selection!!

Very small bar with private atmosphere in an old bank building. Open until 1 pm. Absolutely outstanding selection especially of malt whiskey, but also very good selection of American whisky and other spirits. Very professional bartender. 'Handmade' ice cubes, chilled glasses, perfect mixing.

The Bank Bar has been around for 12 years. It's an EXTREMELY stylish bar and in a former Bank building. The owner is a 60-something Japanese man from Tokyo who from I understand is a very famous art director...and continues to write for GQ Japan magazine etc. Thus, the style. And the crowd. Going tonight...again!

Loved this place! Very stylish space right down to the attractive bar tender in his crisp white shirt and black vest. A touch of old world charm with a great selection of spirits and cocktails. Yes, the mojito was exceptional! Not in the main part of town but well worth hunting down for a drink before or after dinner.

But too tiny and very expensive. Atmosphere is a bit stiff and snobbish.
