best in the northwest

I bring friends there to eat, many of them from the South West, and nearly all agree, its the best food outside the SW for real authentic Mexican food. A friend from NM said its just like what he finds in old town Albuquerque.

It doesn't matter what we order - the food is always great. We eat here at least once a week when we visit the Seattle area. My wife goes through 2 bowls of salsa almost every time we go there. Extremely clean, great service and a cheerful atmosphere make this restaurant number 1 in our opinion.

I'm from Texas so by comparison its very difficult to find good Mexican food in the Puget sound area. But this place comes as close to good Mexican food as I can find. The salsa is good which in my opinion is always the litmus test of what is to follow and I wasn't disappointed with the food. Its one... More

This is the only mexican restaurant I will go to in Auburn. We are never disappointed! The service is always super fast, and the staff are friendly and engaging. One waiter did coin tricks with my son, he loved it. They bring the chips and salsa as soon as you sit down and they never let the chip basket stay... More

Great food, amazing service, wonderful people.. Chicken fajitas and chips and salsa are some of the best I have ever had. Must visit if you are in the Auburn area.

The people were really very nice, service was great but the food was really disappointing. I ordered a tostada with extra guac, the guac was very bland and the tostada was nothing special. My husband ordered the chili colorado and it was ok but the food was just not good.

I don't understand the other reviews. Service was fast and friendly, but the food was amazingly bland and lunch portions pretty small, so not a great value.

It's the best Mexican food around and the staff is so gracious. The decor isn't tacky and the prices are very good. I try to go there at least once a month; it's everyone's favorite.

We have been going to Rio Blanco for over three years now. We have to drive from Fox Island (Gig Harbor area) for their wonderful atmosphere and fare. The folks there are extremely courteous (they even help me learn Spanish by helping me with a new word on each of our visits!) We moved up from California and have come... More
