Description: Adrift is a friendly, casual, locavore eatery with a creative and diverse menu. We serve breakfast all day, lunch, and dinner, and we source much of our meats, seafood, and produce from local farmers. We have an extensive seafood menu featuring local clams, mussels, scallops, oysters, crab, smoked trout, salmon, halibut, and catfish. Our Skagit Burgers are locally famous, they are made with local grass fed beef, housemade potato bun, balsamic caramelized red onions, and toasted garlic aioli. Drift in and join us for a great meal. Was looking forward to an awesome meal given reviews. But they had 3-fish (catfish, halibut, and salmon) and four generic sauces that would be great for catfish, but did not complement the other fish. Fish dishes were served on "seasonal vegetables," unspecified. Mine had a nice mix of sugar snap and snow peas, the other dish came on kale (very... More

This evening, a group of five of us was told there would be a half-hour wait so we gave them a cell number to contact us. After a half hour, and other large groups being seated, we checked back and was told it would be another half-hour. We never did get a call-back. This is a hipster, millennium place and... More

The décor is fine, hinting of village funkiness. I ordered a taco combo, the rest tried steamed clams and something else I have forgotten. Portions were not generous, and a bit pricy. We were not overly impressed with the fare.

When we tried to make a reservation for 7, we were told that 6:15 was our only option. That worked out fine; it wasn't too crowded and the service was good. The salmon was delicious. Bonus: The t-shirts are nice and soft!

We had a pretty decent breakfast here (as recommended by someone where we were staying). The pancakes were light, the egg was cooked as ordered and there were a couple piece of cut fruit on the plate. Nothing sensational. The only bacon offered was peppered bacon, and some of us cannot tolerate pepper. I'd suggest an additional offering. I always... More

You enter the restaurant and immediately see a long counter with stools; great if you are in a hurry or dining alone. Walk towards the back where you wait to be seated at a table in the next room. The dining room has cute, colorful decor and numerous tables and booths. The menu has something for everyone. We tried the... More

This place can cook anything, as it is meant to be made. Great daily specials, nice drink selection. Absolutely worth the drive and the view, take the ferry to the San Juans for the night!

The four of us had a wonderful dinner at the Adrift in Anacortes. We two ladies had the pulled pork and sweet potato tacos that were just fabulous. The guys had sandwiches which were also wonderful. The next time we visit Anacortes, the Adrift will be one of our most longed for stops! Plus, the staff was so friendly and... More

Our family of 5 took a day trip to San Juan island to kayak. We took the ferry back to Anacortes and were looking for a nice local spot for dinner. We found Adrift on trip advisor and took a shot. Called ahead and the hostess was able to get our table ready and sat us right away upon arrival.... More
