The sign said seat yourself, which our party of four did and our waiter, a friendly curly-haired young man, took our drink orders of lemon water... More

It was loud and the host was running around and seemed frazzled but the food was good. The burgers were hot, big, and tasty and the fries were great too.

We found this place on Yelp after returning from a whale tour in the San Juan Islands. (highly recommend Orcas Eclipse Charters, btw) We came in at 7 and were told by the waitress in a nice way that we needed to be out by 8 with the kids, apparently some ordinance because its a restaurant/bar. They were out of... More

I stayed at the Majestic Inn across the street for one night, and stopped here for dinner. They had a brewery there giving away raffle prizes, and the atmosphere was very festive. There is a bar side and a restaurant side. I sat at the bar on the restaurant side and enjoyed a chicken sandwich and fries, perfect after a... More

Had lunch after kayaking bowman bay. Try the habanero chicken sandwich, a local favorite. Kids enjoyed their meal. Fish and chips was a hearty portion. They have a family side of the tavern.

After a long day of cycling we went to the lantern for pub food and much deserved beer. This spot is friendly, has a great selection of pub food and beers. The servers and bar staff were also great.

Yeah it tries to be rustic and succeeds for the most part. Staff know their stuff - food is bar level not bad not great. Tap selection a little wanting but one nice local dark Ale available.
