After a long day of cycling we went to the lantern for pub food and much deserved beer. This spot is friendly, has a great selection of pub food and beers. The servers and bar staff were also great.

So far we have been to the Brown Lantern 5or 6 times and the people are friendly and have good service , they have a great choice of beer and it is a very fun lively place that is not too expensive .

Yeah it tries to be rustic and succeeds for the most part. Staff know their stuff - food is bar level not bad not great. Tap selection a little wanting but one nice local dark Ale available.

We visited a Sunday night for happy hour. $3.50 pints and 1.00 off well, also off bar food type items. Very busy place with lots of sea town atmosphere. Lots of good menu choices. My husband had the blue burger, talk about a meal!

Beer is good, food is bad. It's bar food; what can ya say about fat and salt that ya don't already know? Noisy and full of locals

Nice beers, and their happy hour is quite nice. Try the chicken sriracha skewers. You feel like a local here, even if you are just visiting...

Great food, micro beers and usually good service. Often packed on Fridays and Saturdays so go early or wait.....but it's worth the wait!
