We had dinner here on Sunday evening. Water glasses were placed on our table as we were seated. My husband ordered the Anacortes Brewing oatmeal stout and I had a glas of wine - 14 Hands Chardonnay -I have been trying to drink WA brands. I ordered the fish and chips with sweet potatoe waffle fries that arrived quickly and... More

Went here for lunch and had the most wonderful crab macaroni and cheese! Our group also had fish tacos, a burger, and salad with wood fired wild salmon. All of it was very good. The place was packed because of the street fair going on, but service did not miss a beat. They were clearly staffed for the event and... More

Nothing special. Try someplace else. This place is like a chain restaurant -- nothing out of the ordinary -- nothing particularly local

Pleased to have a really great meal! Visiting from Florida. Used to live here, but this is a new place since we were here. The seafood selection and preparation was excellent. Service was also stellar. Seating was OK, but our only choice was elbow-to-elbow with strangers at nearby tables. The $$ was kinda pricey, but worth it for the quality.... More

Food and service did not let us down. Clean, easy to maneuver (elderly member in party) with a friendly staff. Nice place for an informal meal. Would we go back.. yes, I'm sure we will next time we are in the area.

Long day on the inter-island ferry system was capped by a wonderful meal at this eclectic grill. Alas, we saw no rock fish on the menu, but the crab cakes were very good, with plenty of crab meat. My ribs were some of the tastiest, fall-off-the-bone tenderness I've had anywhere. The waitstaff was pleasant and attentive as well. Bonus -... More

Good beer, good food, and the best bread pudding on the planet! It can get crazy busy and when it is service may slow down or even worse, but the special nights and certain menu items make this a hit.

Friendly staff...Fun place...really cool T-shirts (rockfish logo)...Food was just so-so. The grilled Salmon was overcooked; the squash sauce that was paired with it didn't complement the salmon. I think they'd be better off pairing it with a sweet potato or yams. The cioppino lacked a variety of fish, and should have included either garlic bread or pasta, we added the... More

I've been going to Rockfish for a number of years and have always tolerated the slow service. The food is pretty good but this time I ordered the fish tacos. Well, they brought me tacos but they must have been low on fish. The tacos had a kind of fish salad in them, and as much as I hate to... More

Rock Fish offers good food cooked well and fast. Salmon, rock fish, shrimp, pizza, sandwiches. Offers good local beers, strawberry lemonade, nice veggies, beer ice cream. ??? Yeah, though I didn't try it. Ate there twice this trip - alas, the second time had live so-called music that swiftly drove us to finish and escape. But the food is good,... More
