We had just gotten off the ferry and needed provisions before we headed down to Seattle and read about this place. Our sandwiches were outstanding. Based on the food everybody around us was getting, it looks like everything on the menu is good. Not much else to Anacortes but this is a great sandwich stop.

The service was outstanding! We arrived 15 minutes before closing and they said.."no problem". I had a Northwest salad...huge and yummy. It was really two meals in one. My husband had the special for the day..french dip, and he was in French heaven. This is THE place to eat. It has won many "voted best" by the customers...for good reason.... More

and so can the servers. Took 3 tries to get what I ordered and it was the worst deli food I've ever had. I guess the people, with all due respect, who rate it better than a 2 (out of 5) have never eaten in a really good deli in NY City or Miami Beach. Gave it two chances as... More

Great place to meet for lunch. Very large menu and selection. Tip: If you don't want chips with your sandwich ask for potato salad or fresh fruit. I think that might cost a little extra, but what doesn't,?

Situated within a ten minute drive from the Anacortes Ferry Terminal, the Gere-A-Deli provides an outstanding opportunity to overcome anyone's hunger with a very wide range of fresh sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts. Located on a corner of Main Street, with a similar (unrelated) establishment opposite and a Bistro across the road, the line of potential diners is likely to... More

After a hard afternoon of shopping and carrying packages for the wife, we stopped for some refreshment at Gere-A-Deli. The place is filled with vintage signs, is very clean, and the service was good. Our Root Beer floats were delicious.

Friendly staff, fantastic Fidalgo Bay Seacoast blend coffee and an awesome tomato basil quiche. Can't wait to go back for lunch sometime.
