We have tried this place several times and while the place is charming and the sandwiches good, we recently came in the morning and it wasn't busy. There were a lot of employees preparing food to what looked obviously to be a large call in order. We waited 15 minutes for 2 microwaved breakfast sandwiches to go. It seemed like... More

You place your order at the counter, they are not stingy with the soup or coffee, those are self serve. Had good food all three times we have eaten here, just down home food, nothing fancy. Decent prices, friendly staff.

This place really is as good as they say. I had some of the best chowder and carrot cake I've ever eaten! I didn't have a sandwich, but my friends who did said their sandwiches were delicious! Great food. Definitely worth a stop!

We ate here for the first time while on a spur of the moment daytrip to Anacortes. It can be a roll of the dice to try a little local place, but, we decided to give it a whirl. Sooooo happy we did! Delicious, delicious, delicious! Wonderful soups, delightful sandwiches, and such a great value! Darling location in a historic... More

This is an automatic stop whenever we are in the wonderful Old Town area of Anacortes. Such a great place. Great staff! Great food. Great brownies. Soups, sandwhiches and deserts. My personal favorite is the Gobbler, with a nice brownie for desert. I give this place a 10!

Waiting for the ferry to San Juan, we drove around Anacortes to grab some food. The most appealing place was the Deli and we joined the queue to order sandwiches and salads. Everything was fresh and made to order, delicious cured meats, fresh vegies. Well worth the stop.

Favorite place to go for lunch. Food is always prepared with care. Have been going here for 22 years. Baked goods are great. Best soup in town. They also cater. Have used their salads at my gatherings for years.

I had a Reuben and my husband the Shrimpie. The sandwiches were loaded with fresh ingredients served on equally fresh bread. The service was organized, efficient, fast and friendly fast. The large restaurant is well decorated and clean. This is a must for lunch.

I love this place. My family visited Gere-A-Deli every few weeks while growing up after my Dad picked my mom up from quilt group. I love to go there still now that I'm thirty years old. My favorite food is the Supremo Sub or the Pocket Full Of Veggies. They have daily soups and good chili.
