Our dining experience at 5th St Bistro was a disappointing one from the moment we walked in. We had called ahead the week prior to our visit to make reservations and to inquire about the kid-friendly food on the menu. When we arrived, our table had been set up in the bar. We mentioned the minors in our party the... More

Dear Ursula, Thank you for bringing all of these issues to our attention, as we cannot fix what we don't know. I would really appreciate if you could call me at 360-299-1400 to let me know what date and time you ate and to describe your server, so that we can take corrective action. The rude comment made by your... More

After looking for a nice place to have an anniversary dinner, we came across this place. Very quaint, homey and relaxed. We weren't looking for flash fancy but still wanted something special. It was a very nice evening. The food was tasty and the service was very good. The setting and atmosphere was reminiscent of the age of "Inns" but... More

Another couple and us recently had dinner at The Majestic's Bistro Restaurant. We had the three course $24 meal. The food was absolutely wonderful, as was the service. Our waiter, Travis, was very attentive and paid attention to details. If you are a chocoholic, then you MUST have the chocolate flourless cake with vanilla ice cream! Travis sent out the... More

I love the Majestic and have stayed at this beautiful hotel. This time I was just there for a meal and was delighted to try out their new desserts. My girl friend tried the cheese cake and for me the flowerless chocolate cake. They are both to die for! Oh, and the meal was pretty good too. Will definitely be... More

Thank you for the praise Jamie Ling L! With such a great variety of desserts, I’m not surprised you were able to find one to suit your taste. The flourless cake is certainly my favorite, how can you resist a gooey piece of house made cake similar to the always desired center of a batch of brownies and ice cream?... More

I tend to write Tripadvisor reviews only when I want to share a really special place, or warn about a particularly bad one. And this is my second one of the second type only. We have stayed the the Majastic and eaten in its 5th Street Bistro and have had no complaints, but no rave either. Had I been fair,... More

I work for a local company in Anacortes, WA and whenever I am in Anacortes I stay at The Majestic and eat in the Bistro. This week I had the French Toast; the best French Toast I have ever had.

We parked behind the restaurant and the parking lot was full... typically a good sign. We went in and seated at a window table. Chic inside the small dining room - wood flooring and matted window treatments.. it was on the noisy side when we arrived, but the food was beyond outstanding. We were visited by the manager, a young... More

Stumbled on the Majestic when all of the "trendy" restaurants were filled. We really didn't expect much because the dining room/bar is relatively small with only a few patrons. However, we were tired and hungry so we decided to give it a try. Although the service was a bit slow, the menu offered a fixed price 3 course meal for... More

The clam chowder is the best I have ever had (and I am from New England and have attended a chowder cook off). The chef puts only whole entire clams (minus the shell of course) in the soup, not just diced up pieces of clam meat. Also, for dinner they offer 3 delicious courses for $18, which is an amazing... Thank you for taking the time to review the 5th Street Bistro, we always appreciate feedback from valued guests about their experience. I couldn’t agree more with about the clam chowder. The fresh manila clams, sautéed to order in a bath of white wine and butter, give the dish a unique (and delicious) touch. Please come visit us again in... More

While staying at the Majestic Inn & Spa, I had a few opportunities to take advantage of eating at The 5th Street Bistro. The macaroni and cheese (with truffle oil, bacon, and chicken) was to die for!
