Great happy hour choices!

Four of us visited twice during our short stay in Anacortes...on both occasions during Happy Hour. The menu had some great choices and the happy hour prices was excellent value. I had the Quesadillas and they were delicious. I found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend... read more

The rooftop bar and restaurant at the 5th street bistro has the best view and overall atmosphere in Anacortes. Our server Camas was pleasant and helpful; our food was from the downstairs bistro and was amazing. I have lived in Anacortes for many years and unequivocally can recommend the combination of outstanding service great cuisine in a world-class view.

This is a good place to eat where you can seemingly avoid the clatter of families on vacation. Rather formal looking rooms and tables, with white table clothes. Nice, comprehensive menu, with average prices for the area. Service was good, as was food.

This is excellent dining. The food is fantastic. We were there during a special event. The roof top was full and they had a large private party going on. Our meal was just a little slower than you would expect but not much. The food quality was top notch. The preparation and presentation was great. The staff were friendly and... More

This was the worst dining experience in years. If all the restaurants in Anacortes are closed on Sunday and you are hungry, go to Safeway and buy a TV dinner and stick it in a microwave - it would be better than what we got at this terrible place. Our waiter wore filthy clothes, the table-cloth and napkins were crumbled... More

Grumpyer, I cannot apologize enough for your terrible experience at our Bistro. I would like you to know that I personally watched the video of your entire visit with us and have addressed it with all of my staff - I have coached your server on asking for help when needed as well as coaching the kitchen staff on handling... I had breakfast at the restaurant today. The food was good and reasonably priced. The service was very good. We won't have a chance to eat dinner at 5 th Street, as we are attending a wedding. The menu looks very good.

Our fav's across the street close on Mondays. So we tried 5th Street Bistro after a long absence. Surprise! We chose the dining room rather than the bar. Lovely tall windows and period light fixtures; antique cornice and crown molding lent an elegance to our dinner experience. They serve happy hour menu until 6:30; my Caesar salad--fresh with an excellent... More

A business meeting took me to Anacortes, Washington and our group set up shop in the Boardroom at the Majestic Inn and Spa. This very fashionable Inn is the end result of a wonderful restoration and renewal of historic lodging in Anacortes. At lunchtime our party of three chose the 5th Street Bistro located just off the lobby. The dining... More

We have eaten there two times. Their white house wine when we were there in June, 2014 was light and very tasty. I had flatbread with brie and fresh strawberries. I believe there was also some balsamic vinegar on it. The waitstaff told me the chef was looking for a way to use the local strawberries and hit upon this... More

Stopped in to the bar for the happy hour while we waited for the ferry. Great food, really excellent service. We ate a ton and had a couple drinks each for only 40 bucks.
