We stopped in Aberdeen on the way back from Ocean Shore in late August 2014 for dinner. We ordered the "Surf & Turf" from the menu. When the meal was served, the food was cold and in the middle of the plate was a live Cockroach! We were shocked! We immediately pointed out the insect to the waitress and her... More

We had done a loop of US-101 coming down out of the north through Forks and were hungry. We had no idea where to eat as a change of plans keep us away from our original desitnation of Quinalt Lodge. It is an old venue, but steeped in seafood. My wife had two Razor clams a la carte for ten... More

Razor clams are found from the Aleutian Islands down as far as Pismo Beach, California and are considered a delicacy. People come from miles away to dig them at our beaches. We like to feature local items on our menu like the razor clams and the Pacific Northwest's little wild blackberries. Razor clams are found on our breakfast, lunch and... More

I took the family to Ocean Shores and we were ready for dinner Sunday evening. We started in Hoquiam looking at the Tripadvisor top rated restaurants but they were all closed (it was about 6:30 pm). We continued driving down Simpson Ave. until we got to Aberdeen. We saw the "open" sign and packed parking lot at Duffy's so decided... More

All of us at Duffy's would like to thank you for your great review. We make a real effort to serve many recipes we make in our back kitchen. A full time baker is on duty making pies, rolls, cinnamon rolls and our famouse Little Wild Blackberry Pie. Everyone works hard to put out a quality meal and we thank... More

Food is excellent: oysters and pies in particular. Friendly atmosphere linked to the history of a book loving family.

Having grown up in the area, Duffy's has always been a great place to eat. It hasn't changed much over the years so don't expect a 5-star restaurant. Still the same good comfort food - just costs a bit more than it used to. For the most part, I've had good service and good food.

Stopped here on our way home from Ocean Shores for some lunch. We were seated in a booth were the table was very sticky and the booth itself was dirty. Family of 3 ordered a hamburger, french dip and grilled cheese. Felt we were taken advantage of as the "additional" charge of $3.69 per order for fries was not clearly... More

We eat there once in awhile they have a pretty big selection. Some of the menu items are kind of spendy, their desserts are really good the entrance is not very nice there are books for sale and pull tabs and the wait staff sometimes aren't that friendly.

The experience starts with walking thru the double doors into a foyer packed with lotto machines. Then, make your way to the hostess section, past the thrift store books for sale. A tired looking waitress will give you a sticky menu and you'll try to find something you can eat that looks somewhat modern, fresh and/or healthy. When that fails,... More

Probably not a repeat. Husband did like his fries. I thought the "fresh homemade biscuit" was heavy and more like a cake. It was even square, not round. Good jam, but a tiny serving of it. Careful of the misleading price on burgers. Add fries is over 3$ and another 1$ for lettuce and tomato. Ends up over $11 !
