We very much enjoyed the fast serving of great food. Even the pizza came in less than 10 minutes. Also nice to have an Italian beer (Peroni) to compliment the meal.

This is a worldwide franchise that have almost the same quality everywhere. For those that likes thin crust this is the place to go in DC. They have an outside seating area, that does not have any special view, but is very nice in a good weather night. Service is also very good, they even change the drink I ask... More

We walked up the hill from our hotel on the recommendation of staff because the pizza is great. The menu however offers much more and to our pleasure the Spaghetti alla Carbonara was perfect and the serving size correct. Sitting out, alfresco was not Neopolitan but very relaxing after a day of touring in D.C.

Food good; nice beer selection; friendly but unobtrusive staff. For those who prefer to feel the weather, there is a nice sheltered outdoor dining area. It had the feel of a neighborhood bar with folks of all ages -- including families and solo book worms.

Our family of 16 had a delicious meal at Piola. The wood fired pizzas were very different and unique. The combinations made for a great pizza! Others in our group got gnocchi which they also said was delicious. They also had a good caipirhina if you like that drink. The place was fun and noisy when we were there due... More

This place was a great family spot for grabbing pizza pies and watching the World Cup. Highly recommend for families.

Been coming here for years. My personal favorite pizza is the Lisbona. However, I was here most recently for drinks and they were expensive and not great which is why we moved on. A more attractive afternoon happy hour might do wonders for business.

The place was recommened by the staff at our hotel. Visit was the evening of June 13. We were seated promptly but after that things seems to go in slow motion. Their pizza menue is more European in nature, meaning most of the pizzas come with only two or three items. Also don't even think of asking for a substitution.... More

Excellent options on the menu and friendly staff. The pizza with prosciutto is awesome. No beer on tap but enough selection and the food comes quick. Good atmosphere and family friendly.
