This Pizza is great

I love the Pizza here. Wonderful brick oven pizza, and the happy hour is lovely. The Pizza prices from 4-5 pm and 5-6 pm can not be beat.

My husband and I travelled to DC for a three day weekend, found this pizza place across few blocks from our hotel. It wasn’t very busy, but I was immediately excited when I saw a real brick oven! We ordered two pizzas, one is prosciutto, the other is smoked salmon. Both were very good. Prices were a little pricy, but... More

We visited for lunch and ordered pizza and a combo special of pizza and pasta. The pizza arrived in about 5 minutes (thanks to the 600 degree brick oven) and the pasta arrived shortly thereafter. Everything was excellent.

Visiting the area for only a few days we decided to try Piola for dinner, and glad we did. We didnt have the pizza.. but 3 different pasta dishes and all were delicious. Fresh ingredients and very flavorful. Great service and atmosphere.

My boyfriend ate here years ago and liked it. I didn't know what to expect, but the atmosphere was nice- open and spacious, good music playing and great service. He ordered a superb salad and I ordered an Italia pizza. Now, the pizza was different- it was basically a cheese thin crust with salad like toppings placed on top (raw)....... More

If you are going to be a place dedicated to pizza then the pizza has to be better. Moreover the time I was there, they were pushy about getting dessert and such. Maybe instead they should focus on the quality of the pizza! I am a pizza snob so maybe that is the problem? I can tell by how relatively... More

My husband and I called in an order for carry out. Can't say we were overly impressed with the experience. The staff didn't seem organized and there was confusion as to where we should pick up our order. After paying the $15 for a small-ish pizza, we decided to give it the quality the benefit of the doubt and returned... More

I love the pizza and gnocci. The venue is a little loud at times due to conversations, music, bar, and a few TVs. Otherwise, the price is good and quality of food is superb. Definitely will be back for Lucky Gnocci Day (All you can eat gnoccis!)

Pretty decent pizza that's cooked in a wood fired brick oven. The pizzas are thin, as I am from NY I am accustomed to thick pizza. But all and all he pizza, staff, and place were all nice!

Loved the mix of foods. Wasn't any basic food choices or gluten free though. Portions and prices were good, Wasn't overly impressed with the manager. Staff was great.
