Great Lebanese Food!

Being Lebanese, I can say the food here is excellent. We loved the beef shawarma, and had great cold and hot appetizers - cheese rolls, fattoush, hummus, tabouli - along with a mixed grill. The appetizers are great to share and the atmosphere is very nice. Highly recommended!

Quite a find in Arlington and makes Lebanese Taverna seem very ordinary. Appetizers like kibbeh, hummus, meat pies, labneh are delicious. There are a couple of good choices for the kids. Kebabs are good choice on the entree menu. Authentic Lebanese fare. Great service. Hot pita is addicting! Eat al fresco if the weather permits.

We tried Me Jana during Restaurant Week in the Washington DC area. It is the perfect time to try a restaurant and Me Jana kindly offered a "sampler" appetizer and a "mixed grill" as options for their special. That way, I could sample quite a few of their offerings. I noted that the falafel and hummus were particularly good. I... More

On a recent visit to the DC suburbs, we were itching to try something out of the ordinary. A quick search for a variety of ethnic foods pointed us here. Me Jana did not disappoint. Although oddly vacant for a Saturday, the atmosphere was nice. The service was top notch and the baby in our group was well taken care... More

This was my second visit to Me Jana. I didn't like it much the first time, and the only reason I went back was because our restaurant group already had it scheduled for a return visit before we went the first time. The food was even worse this time around. I had the spinach pie, which was dry, doughy, and... More

We went as a large group following our business meeting. The service was excellent and we didn't even ask for individual checks. We must have ordered at least one of every mezza plate on the menu. Many were just ok, some very good, and a couple really shined. I'd recommend the seared halloumi (cheese) and the sujok (lamb sausages in... More

The food was delicious. It was very tasty without being overly spicy. Sometime Lebanese food can actually be tasteless. We had five different mezzo dishes between the two of us and it was delicious. The beef shawarma was divine. It was not served as a sandwich which is the traditional form but as pieces of spiced meet with the sauce... More

We were in a hurry to get to an event, so the 2 of us opted for the mezza plate and it was terrific, plenty of food for an early evening supper on the run. The service was attentive and they were helpful when we told them we didn't have time to linger. Not inexpensive, but our brief experience was... More

Husband and I enjoyed a matinee at Courthouse and decided to treat ourselves to dinner out. Where to go? We opted for Me Jana since it was a pleasantly warm October day. Lovely outdoor seating, not too close to traffic with a lively pedestrian street scene. Our waitress and servers were truly attentive, the small plates were tasty and as... More

We have been here many times and the food is fabulous! For appetizers we had hummus (of course) a beef stuffed zucchini and baba ghannous. We shared a tricolor salad with yellow beats and potatoes and vegetables. It was wonderfully seasoned. For dinner my sister and my husband had the lamb chops that they are known for and they raved...
