I always try out a new Thai place when I travel for business and this one did not disappoint. It's tucked in along a street with several trendy restaurants and you could easily pass it. I had the crispy duck and it was fabulous. Just the right heat and very fresh. Wait staff was at tentative and the place was... More

Best Thai in Arlington and Alexandria.... and maybe DC too, IMO. The calamari appetizer is the absolute best calamari around, hands down - I typically add two every time I order. The pad thai is really good, the tofu dishes (here me out now - lol) are consistently phenomenal.. and getting well-prepared tofu at any restaurant is extremely hit or... More

We have eaten a few times from Urban Thai, and have not been disappointed. They are located in a stretch of restaurants smashed up against one another, but they do deliver to the south Arlington (Crystal City) area. Among our favorite dishes are the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. Chicken Satay has also been very tasty. Prices are reasonable. We... More

I had a late lunch here with a friend and we were not disappointed. I had the drunken noodles and my friend had the pad Thai chicken. Both were hot and delicious. The spice level was adjusted to our taste. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the sunny weather. The check was... More

A friend and I were in the area at lunch time. A quick search on Tripadvisor brought us to this restaurant, and I'm so pleased. While the facilities were not amazing, the food was. Service was very good too. Pricing was very reasonable. We split the butternut squash pot stickers with corn and mango chutney. They were delicious! I got... More

Modest restaurant in appearance, this food is outstanding, best Thai we've had in a very long time. Interesting dishes, excellent service. We will come here whenever we are in this town. Recommend the ginger soup with mushroom dumplings.

Panang Chicken and Drunken Noodles both excellent. Service was fast and efficient. One of two Thai restaurants on the row on 23rd St. Glad we chose this one.

I was surprised find such fresh Thai food in DC. The prices were excellent and the spring rolls were the best. I had the drunken noodles and and asparagus with friends. My only suggestion is skip the dessert,( I had the fried bandanna) and go elsewhere if you crave something sweet.

It's a good place for a group lunch. It's close to our office in Crystal City. Only issue is with parking on the street, which can be difficult at times.

I've tried just about every Thai restaurant in the metro-DC area in search of some fresh spring rolls that beat Urban Thai's jai roll. They're amazing. I usually have two (or three) orders of those as my entire meal. Don't get tricked and order the other spring rolls as happened to the people sitting next to me. Best spring rolls... More
