Great variation and flavors!

I went with my family and was not disappointed! We opted for the tasting menu which was around $70 per person. The dishes started flowing and at first I was concerned that I was going to leave hungry and this was weighing on my experience. However, the dishes kept coming and all were complex in... read more

Great variety and a wonderful selection. I think you could eat here 20 times and not have any duplication. Great taste flavor and atmosphere. Server was very informative, helpful and responsive. First time on a business trip. I'd definately go back.

Visited with a group. Food came out to share. Had about 16 courses. Food was very tasty and temperature as appropriate for item. Enjoyed sampling so many different items.

If I was by myself, I wouldn't have chosen Jaleo in Crystal City, but since I was with a group there I was. The meal was amazing. The tapas just kept coming - three appetizers, three pre entrée offerings, three entrees and two desserts all washed down with an endless supply of sangria. Waiters were very attentive and service was... More

My wife and I recently celebrated her birthday at Jaleo. Since we were attending a show at the Kennedy Center that evening we dined early. The food was fantastic as usual, as was the service. The dish that stood out was the baby squid. They were lightly fried and extremely delicious. The Jaleo Staff made my wife's birthday something special.... More

Jaleo is known for their tapas. However, at lunch they have four sandwiches on the menu that are the bomb. Served quickly with a glass of rosé wine, lunch could not be better! The restaurant itself is modern and beautiful and the staff are friendly and attentive. A go to spot in Crystal City.

I have been to this restaurant before for lunch by myself and had one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The lamb on this was outstanding and the soup that was paired with it made it a meal to truly remember. But when I went here last night with my partner for dinner, I was left feeling a... More

This is the second time I make the same mistake and I know it is my fault. Just came back from 15 days in Spain and thought I could get the same quality here; big mistake. Jaleo offers all kinds of tapas at non-tapas prices so you end up spending a lot of money for somewhat mediocre food. In my... More

We went there on Valentine's Day. After having read the reviews about how delicious paella at this place, we had to try. There were special Menu on this day, we ordered some oysters with caviar, grilled shrimp, and paella with a whole lobster. Oh my goodness, it was out of this world. We can't wait to go back!

Warm welcome by the hostess and prompt seating. Water poured for you, or select sparkling water (probably a charge for this). Wines are from Spain--most are bottles, but classes are available in a handful of varieties. Enjoy the salad, and the shrimp is excellent. Orders showed as "Gambas" and "Ens Iberico." I'd suggest passing on the salmon dish. It is... More
